I just had fun making this Colab notebook which explains how to build a sound synthesizer from scratch in Python. You can play with it now at: It covers sound generation, melodies, sound effects like echo, panning, low-pass filter, etc. Enjoy! 😄🎹🎶

I'm sorry, but it just sounds.... too soft. Too slow. It doesn't sound like a Gimmick at all. It has potential if you make it sound livelier. I've tried to remake it a bit in FamiTracker, to show you what I mean.

I like how Avowed encourages exploration. Chests or Loot make a sound, which makes you want to find it. Vertical exploration too. From XboxSeriesX

And this is where things get REALLY exciting for designers/animators. I can go in and update the menu graphics 🖌️, build in new animations for the ship, etc., even play around with sound effects 🔊, and it all gets updated in the Main artboard. LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

mingyu talking about how coups broke the news yesterday 😆 🐶 i feel great. yesterday coups made the news sound really bad? [he was like] “everyone, actually…” i was thinking why are you making a good thing sound like this? but i guess it was to give it a twist. it’s such a good thing though, he made it sound so uneasy.

Just built this space battle game with Grok 4.5 in Grok Build, and it absolutely nailed it I literally gave it a simple two-line prompt, asked it to research the idea and build the game, and it did the rest A few back-and-forth tweaks, and took a free low-poly spaceship model, and Grok handled the integration surprisingly well....even the sound effects Now I can’t stop playing it. It’s actually super fun. Grok just got even more addictive…

Text to Sound Effects is here. Our newest AI Audio model generates sound effects, short instrumental tracks, soundscapes, and a wide variety of character voices, all from a text prompt. Available now for all users. Everyone from content creators, video game developers, to film and television studios, uses sound effects to create rich and immersive content. Now, in addition to AI voiceovers, you can generate all of the sounds you need with just a prompt. Everything you hear in this video was generated by ElevenLabs sound and voice models. In this thread, we shared some additional clips that help show off the range of this new model.

Kaiju Battle (Part 2)!!! Had a lot of fun with this. Looking back at it, I'd make some changes but overall, I like it. Hope you like it too! Sorry for the poor sound design btw. #Kaiju #Godzilla #3Danimation #animation

Love this clip of an interview I did with Mark Mangini where he explains a few of his voice cameos in Dune! Thank you to Pro Sound Effects for making this happen 🙌 #sounddesign #gameaudio #filmsound

SINN6R speaks on why he doesn’t like ‘2Often’ in interview with KidsTakeOver “It just wasn’t me. There was people in my camp at the time that were dictating how my sound was” “I knew I wasn’t making stuff that I was happy with but I knew I had to drop now”

Complied all the 02 sound effects with as little other noises as I could... This thing is pretty creepy sounding when you can actually hear it, you can kinda hear it pulsing in its idles, gives a cool Techno Eldritch horror vibes, a weird bell chimes too when it gets low HP...

This is one of my favorite Jay Chou songs, Chrysanthemum Terrace. I play it all the time at sound check or just for fun so I thought I’d share it with you. #jaychou #ChrysanthemumTerrace #martyfriedman #guitarist #guitarplayer

Something that always bugged me about Flower Man is how it sounds like it's being played from a filter. I decided to reverse-engineer (or whatever i did to) the song to make it sound less like that. What do you think?

‘70s music can feel like it takes you to another world—one you only really understand if you love that era. We’ll probably never see a generation of music quite like it again. I love this sound ❤

After years in the making, It’s finally here - my Neural DSP Archetype X plugin. It sounds and feels exactly like my rig on its best day, with expert mic placement and engineering. I threw everything I had at this project, knowing that you wouldn’t be reading this unless we got it right. And thanks to the brilliant minds at Neural DSP , I can say we’ve created a plugin that perfectly recreates the sound and experience of playing tube amplifiers, as well as effects pedals and outboard gear. And now you can play it too. Head to for more.

Pharrell Williams responds to the recent controversy surrounding his political comments while accepting the 2025 FNAA 'Shoe Of The Year' award: “Sound bite this. Since most people don’t like to read or do research anymore, sound bite this. God is the greatest. Sound bite this. I’m from Virginia. Sound bite this. You don’t know what I know. You ain’t seen what I saw. No, you ain’t been where I go. I’m from the mud. As a child, nobody’s been evicted more times than me. Lights turned off, water turned off, and at times, had to pump the water.” “I’m proletariat. In fact, I’m lumpenproletariat. Sound bite this. I had to stay on my feet. Sound bite this. But I could never walk in the shoes of my parents, parents, etc, all they had to endure while staying on their feet." "Sound bite this. At least a couple times a day, put down your phone and think on your own."

This woman is complaining about this loud sound in her apartment and when she complains they just either ignore her or say there’s nothing they can do about it! What does it sound like to you? I say the building is ready to come down because of a support beam!
