Hobbs Kessler has said that he is not planning on running at the World Indoor Championships. Sam Gillman does not have the World Championship qualifying standard but could see a boost in his World Ranking enough to get the spot on Team USA. However, he says that he’ll need clearance from the U.S. Air Force to compete since the meet is in China. “It would be a dream to go,” he told reporters after the race. “If I had the opportunity, I’d take it in a heartbeat.”
