Chicago? No true Chicagoan would EVER put ketchup on a hot dog! The hot dog is placed on a poppy seed bun. Add mustard (but NEVER ketchup), diced white onions, pickle relish (the bright green, radioactive kind), tomato, and a dill pickle spear. Celery salt and peppers are optional.

Lived there for a few years. Chicago folks DO NOT put ketchup on hot dogs.
