@RealMichaelKay I love Michael is on his own now

@RealMichaelKay It's sad that we're still talking about this now and nothing has changed.

@RealMichaelKay I think that the Yankees use analytics they like and aren’t fully bought into a %100 analytical approach. For example the dodgers would never hold onto dj or volpe or strolike the Yankees do. It’s very clear the Yankees don’t use a numbers approach in the same way better teams do

@RealMichaelKay Analytics has completely destroyed baseball.

@RealMichaelKay The demonization of analytics by old heads is so predictable. It’s the first thing they go to when their fav team starts losing The Yanks went to the WS with those “pesky” analytics last year (in a very weak AL, tbf) Stop the excuses. The roster isn’t great and Boone is stale.

@RealMichaelKay There is no demonization of analytics. It shouldn’t be that significant where it removes feel and managerial skills from the game. I’m very analytical about baseball but there are plenty of situations when you go for feel over data.

@RealMichaelKay The eye test is better than analytics and we are sucks

@RealMichaelKay Side note. I miss the Micheal Kay show on yes. It’s not the same anymore. I still listen to Micheal sometimes but never listen to the afternoon show.

@RealMichaelKay Why would jazz be playing third base? Bc analytics don’t properly account for how important fielding is especially in an era where more balls are put into play.

@RealMichaelKay Cash is the disease.
