We want to flush out that whole system & bring real, decent people into Washington, D.C., to do the people’s work. That was my goal when I ran for Congress. That’s exactly why they worked so hard to stop me — because they knew I wouldn’t take a bribe. When they tried, I looked them in the eye & said “NO, No amount of money in the world will stop me from doing the right thing for the American people.” When you have that kind of moral compass, it’s tough in D.C. They don’t want honest people here because it disrupts the criminal enterprise that’s taken root in our government — & they’re all profiting from it. We need REAL leadership in Congress to root out this corruption & restore integrity to the institution.
