I tested my Blender character creation skill with Codex + GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra. The full prompt: “Create a Three.js game where the player explores different biomes. Create the character and animations with skill-blender-character.” Codex built the world, created the low-poly character in Blender, generated the outfit and integrated the animations into the game. One prompt, one custom skill, one playable prototype.

INSANITY CONFIRMED! Crazy how well the prompt worked! Initially game was 1 shot fully with Claude Opus 5, with a few extra prompts for bug fixes and performance. Like smoke in front of the gun blocking my vision etc. All in Three.js in browser, no external models/assets.

I just watched AI build a game from a sentence. No Unity. No Unreal. No code. No files. I simply described the game I wanted to make, and Gear Zero planned it, coded it, created the visuals, and turned it into a playable game in my browser. Crazy experience hooking my laptop up to my tv via HDMI and playing a browser-based Three.js game made with AI in a few days with my wireless PS5 controller... Imagine if you can dream up any map on zombies (or any game/world) and play split screen with your friends from your couch using controllers on a Three.js game that runs in the browser… a little input lag on controller movement, but exciting to see where this space can go!

Can't believe in less than 24 hours I created my own game with Claude and Three.js. Running in a browser at 120 FPS. All I had to do was give Claude the repo for Threejs and describe an MMO-like game for it to build from scratch. All the assets and mechanics you see are all from a prompt. As you can see, it is far from done but the progress is insane. Everyone should be using Three.js now without a doubt!

So this game is real now, fully built with GPT-5.5. I told Codex to use the imagegen skill to generate a reference UI and sprites, and used the Build macOS Apps plugin to build the app for a native retro fantasy labyrinth game! Adjusted the UI in a few prompts and here we are!

Codex is unusable. I generated one image with GPT Image 2.0, gave it to Codex, and used one simple prompt: “Create me a web game from this image.” You give it a simple image like this, and suddenly you realize you can build: • a voxel map • an editor • tile animations • a playable browser prototype This is getting ridiculous.

Kino der Toten zombies ported to the browser. GPT Astra used the real game assets and reconstructed Kino in the browser with Three.js, the same approach I used for Black Ops 2 and Smash Bros. Brawl. It added the Mystery Box animations, weapon reloads, guns, sounds, and a bunch of the actual Zombies mechanics. At this point, I believe any existing game can be ported to the browser with enough time and tokens. Still a lot left to add, but it’s starting to feel like actual Kino. Repo + playable link coming soon.

img2threejs 1.5.1 is out 🚀 Checkout: This release introduces a new approach to image → 3D → Three.js. Image → Tripo → img2threejs → reconstructed geometry → Three.js Instead of using the generated 3D model as the final asset, img2threejs uses it as a reference to rebuild the character into a representation that can be generated and rendered directly in Three.js. No Blender workflow, and no GLB required as the final output. The animation in the demo is still a bit rough because this release is focused on reconstruction, not animation. I’ll be improving that in the next release. Still experimental, but this is a big step toward where I want img2threejs to go.

Fable 5.1 one-shot this Dark Souls meets Diablo game. All code, 222 KB total, zero asset files. Every texture, model and sound effect is generated procedurally. The whole sfx system is 7 KB of Web Audio synthesis. It nailed mechanics I only named in text: stamina, dodge rolls, barbarian skills, and a punishing Souls-style boss. The soul pickups and death animations came out way smoother than I expected. What gets me is how much it infers from a few genre references, with no screenshots or video to go on. Reaching this level used to take dozens of prompts in Sol or Opus 5. Anyone with taste can now make really fun games in the browser.

Grok 4.5 in Grok Build is insane for 3D game dev🤯 I ran a detailed prompt using the /goal feature and I created this in only two prompts. Took roughly an hour. The model rigged all the enemy humanoids and made a fleshed out map and AI logic.

I made a RuneScape-like game for Mac-in full 3D-using GPT-6 Astra, the Tripo plugin & Blender! This is only version 0.1, so there’s still a lot to improve, but the full 3D animations already work, the core game actions are functional & there’s even a flying dragon at the end!

If i ever see you in Arc Raiders and i shoot on sight not being friendly. You can all blame this guy. Like i understand the goal of the game isn't to be friendly with everyone but when shit like this happens it just blows my mind. Insane what you can create with three.js nowadays. I made a game-quality 3D experience in the browser with water ripples, smoke effects, a 3D paper menu, underwater UI, and a peeling footer. The whole thing is pure code and only 183 KB. Seriously, no loading screen needed. I combined and components with a few direct prompts: - Open the hamburger menu as a 3D paper overlay {threeui 3D paper} - Add a peel effect to the footer {canvasui peel} - When the cursor passes through the heading, turn the letters into smoke {canvasui liquid object} Inspired by the amazing site. Let me know if I should open-source it.
