There’s literally thousands and thousands of you trying to get into this server to the point where you guys are SOMEHOW breaking Roblox’s servers… So, since this is becoming a real issue, I’m going to end Wave 8 here. But Wave 9 will be very soon, and it’ll be the last “wave.” This time though, I won’t make it a private server where I have to personally hand it out. Instead, I’ll open a game where you guys can join, get a badge, and receive the skin through that. That way, there won’t be as many restrictions or barriers for people who can’t join the server because of their device, connection, or any other issues. Sorry Roblox decided to tweak today for some reason, but that’s not going to stop me from giving this thing I love with my heart to y’all, especially knowing how many of you love it too. Soon, I’ll be opening the badge game. Stay tuned...

I'm building my game with GPT-6, and color correction has become one of my favorite uses for it. When I generate assets separately, I can like each one on its own and still end up with a scene where the colors don't belong together. A castle looks fine in isolation, then turns greenish against the terrain. Its swords and shields disappear into the background. Getting those things to match used to mean a lot of repainting and trying different textures. Now I've built a workflow where GPT-6 takes screenshots in Unity, inspects the object's color textures, and helps bring them closer to the look I want. I can give it the terrain or tree textures as color references. It can prepare masks, send the relevant textures through Image Edit, then put the result back into the game for another look. Editors such as GPT Image 2 Edit or Nano Banana Edit can be part of that workflow. This is also why I keep pushing for properly prepared 3D models. If the parts are separated logically, you get much more control later. We could work on the swords and shields without changing the whole castle. The stone could stay dark while the equipment became easier to read. The latest pass on my game covered the overall post effects and the skeleton castles. We matched the castles to the surrounding terrain, adjusted the equipment colors, and added a subtle moving highlight. The first stronger color pass went too far. I asked for the accents to move about 30% closer to gray, and that got them where I wanted: visible, without pulling all the attention. I'm so happy with the difference. The video shows the before and after across the map and on the castles. Being able to give feedback on the actual scene and keep refining it this way feels great.

After 50 hours, God of war Sons of Sparta Platinum 100% is done! Full thoughts: - The game gets better and better the more you play - Boss fights where awesome - Fun to see Kratos as a kid but also wish you could play sections in 2D as the adult - OST is incredible - From a Metroivania point of view it's decent, it's not the best but also not the worst - From a god of war perspectively it's definitely better, it has a lot of old school stuff - Side stuff where ok, mostly not needed - I really like the art style, playstation definitely needs more different art styles Basically there are 2 sides here, if you're a god of war fan then obviously this is a must play since it adds to the lore, story and pure fun. So that way worth asking price However if you're a Metroivania super fan or casual GOW fan then better to wait for a sale if you want to play it. Either way, it's a fun game and Sony needs imo more of these "smaller" scale games.

Has been a while since I've given an update so here's a breakdown of where Sappy is at right now and what we're focusing on going into this year. Pre-amble: With altcoins & NFTs the market is definitely not the same as it was before. I think this is obvious to everyone but I've noticed there are still japanese soldiers that are convinced old tricks and mechanics work. They don't. Liquidity is thin; people want to bid assets that feel like "real companies" not vacuous memecoins. There's still room for memecoins, social currencies, and "utility tokens" (I would say without these functions, tokens are hard to justify versus equities). I'm not part of the camp that thinks there will never be hyperspeculation in crypto again, because there will be; we all love ponzis and PvPing each other onchain. Just not with solved games -- people need something new and fresh. So the overarching plan is to continue building for users, sustainable revenues that aren't tied to directly to crypto, and doubling down on the areas that we've already found PMF / Brand Market Fit. Then leaning into crypto during cyclical periods where liquidity is sloshing around at an accelerated rate. Where we've found early PMF / what we're leaning into: Roblox: we're going to continue to go hard and accelerate here. It's our main objective to ship more seal/brainrot focused games across most genres to cast as wide of a net as we can for the brand, and to also iterate and see what works and stays sticky. Our initial incursion into Roblox was very successful peaking at 2M+ MAU and still sustaining a large portion of that player base... for all of its success, that was a relatively amateur first attempt; we've been setting up better AI pipelines for Roblox development that makes it reasonable to ship many more games and 10x those player counts in totality. It's my belief that Roblox is the sandbox whose audience will be the most valuable on the internet once they are grown up. That intense feeling you get when you see a TikTok referencing an old game you enjoyed on the PS2 or the Gamecube, or when you see a Pokemon card is the exact same feeling the youth of today will get when reminiscing on the things they enjoyed engaging with when they were younger. Fortnite and Roblox are functional equivalents to the old school consoles and exactly where that is taking place. Which is why as much as I care about scaling revenues through Roblox, the long term brand equity gained purely through being popular on the platform is totally invaluable. It also can heavily convert to merchandise sales today if all touchpoints for the brand are dialed in (which is why brands get overcharged so much by Roblox dev shops for the same ROI that only cost us a few thousand $). We have the playbook, it's just about iterating new concepts and then aggressively scaling. Brand Expansion & Merchandising: I've started to create a content pipeline that is easily repeatable, cost efficient (costs next to nothing through either AI or smart reusable concepts), while still being very tasteful and meeting our quality standards for the brand. We are mostly focusing here on reaching people where they're at through nostalgic/emotional content, or just being visually stimulating through carefully curated aesthetics. Content that isn't superficial and touches people in a memorable way. I've attached some examples to the post so you can see what I mean rather than just read it. I don't think it's long until larger brands start doing this at scale, but it's always good to be ahead of the curve and most importantly winning on taste -- knowing what will resonate with people and what won't has always been our edge. The purpose for these accounts is not only to rack up attention but also to begin converting those into sales of both of physicals (plushies & gacha collectibles) and digital avenues like our games, and any other apps we produce. Because they're offshoot accounts it's also a lot easier to be aggressive/experimental with said conversion strategies. Sappy Studio: I'm wrapping everything like Omnia, and everything else into this category because they're all tangentially related. Beginning with Omnia, our current focus is gearing up for Season 0 which involves players competing in the ranked ladder for a prize pool that has rewards through Monad Momentum as well as a player-funded prize pool. This season will be fairly simple with us mostly logging retention, deck building habits, as well as qualitatively observing how aggressively players push the combat system. Deeper monetization wont exist yet outside of the player buy-in (to be eligible for P2E rewards). Beyond that our overarching principle this year is to focus heavily on risk-to-earn mechanics where a portion of that excess value is circular i.e. revenues flow back to prize pools or other parts of the economy, treating the game almost like a protocol where the objective is to amass TVL or player liquidity. Social is also a big focus, and that means implementing the Open World hub which from an infrastructure perspective has already been built out and tested by all of you previously. Right now we are scaffolding the environment in 3D and working through how that hub should look and feel, so players are excited to hang out & idle together while they're queuing. For sappydotlol, what I'm about to say is still early days from a design perspective so a lot can change, but I'm pushing the site in the direction of being a virtual game console. An intersection between Nintendo & Myspace where users can play, trade, and socially interact in a way that's deeply personalised; a breathe of fresh air from the hostility of the current internet. If you go back to my thesis on Roblox above and the game console references, you can kind of see how this will all sequentially tie together. In essence, the strategy is to acquire a critical mass of players through traditional platforms like Roblox, and use that attention and trust to provide an onboarding funnel for web2 users into our own sandbox filled with a mixture of our own browser-based experiences as well as an aggregation of others. The aim is to make the platform a breath of fresh air & bunker from the enshittified platforms like TikTok/IG/X where users are actually served in ways that delight rather than agitate, and where self-expression is incentivised. Closing: As always everything here is subject to change but I've never felt more conviction in our direction until now; I know exactly what we need to do and how, with everything aligning with our team's strengths. Very excited and grinding through things to the point where I'm getting headaches and can't sleep from being hyperfocused for long periods of time lol. There probably has never been a better time to join the ecosystem from a price to fuck around and find out perspective.

For years i've had this vision for a synchronous reactive ORM with offline support and realtime syncing to other clients. This is the holy grail of state management IMO and i'm finally building it using mobx and yjs. I know that's a mouthful so let me explain: synchronous - there's no promises to deal with and therefore no loading states which leads to much cleaner frontend code. reactive - imagine signals/observables that you can mutate and they will trigger your components to rerender and also will immediately propagate to other users' devices. ORM - what i've made is not an ORM, but it looks and feels like one where you define Models and then you interact with instances of those models. offline/syncing - this is done through yjs, a CRDT implementation, and websockets. CRDTs power many modern collaborative multiplayer tools like figma.

This is one week of rebuilding Soccer Pinball Pro with Astra + Unity CLI. Day 1 vs Day 7. I see so many people on here one-shotting these incredible systems and games, and I’m constantly blown away by what people are building. But my approach with this has been a little different. This isn’t a new game or an experiment. It’s a rebuild of a game I originally made in 2019, and I’ve been trying to stay true to what made that game fun while finally building everything I wanted it to be back then. In seven days I’ve gone from getting the basic game working in a different engine to rebuilding the players, improving the AI, adding passing, tackles, bicycle kicks, better ball feedback, dynamic camera movement, new lighting and shadows, grass, a new scoreboard, goal effects, and an actual PvE match mode. And I’ve been able to iterate on all of it almost as quickly as I can think of things to change. But the important part is that this is my vision. It isn’t a screenshot or concept I pulled from somewhere and asked Astra/Codex to recreate. This is a game and an idea I’ve had sitting in the back of my mind for years. I executed on that idea in 2019, but what I was capable of making then was nowhere near what I had actually envisioned. Unity itself is still probably the slowest part of this workflow. Waiting on compiles, entering play mode, importing, building, and all those little interruptions add up. Unity 7 intends to address a lot of that, which makes me even more curious about where this workflow goes next. The part that excites me most isn’t just how much I can build in a week. It’s realizing I can go back to ideas I had years ago and finally build the games I saw in my head at the time. That has completely changed how I’m thinking about game development. For the past few weeks I’ve been teaching 50+ kids how to create their own games with AI. The results have been incredible 🤯 I started with my 5 y/o nephew because I was worried about him spending hours doomscrolling and consuming brainrot content. He built his first game using v0, though I had to walk him through each step. Watching kids interact with these tools taught me so much about how they think, where they get stuck, and what keeps them motivated. The moment that really struck me came right after he finished that first game. Every time I saw him afterward, he’d run up and ask, “Did you bring your laptop so I can keep playing?”. For him, “playing” meant creating. That kind of excitement is organic pull. Don’t get me wrong, I love v0 and Lovable. They’re insanely powerful. Their UIs just aren’t designed for kids, and that’s totally fine. Kids still need guidance, structure, and a bit of tutoring to turn ideas into something playable. I’m seeing tech leaders push in this direction too, and I think there’s a real opportunity here (Matias Woloski Thomas Wolf). Kids are the future, and I don’t want to live in a world where they spend precious time consuming instead of creating. That’s why I love tools like v0, Lovable, wabi , Cursor . They’re empowering more people to become creators. I want that same feeling for kids. What Guillermo is saying is real. Kids need to be AI-literate from the outset. It honestly makes me sad to think about my nephew growing up and falling behind on AI and everything happening around him because he’s stuck in Roblox or TikTok. That’s why I built Rabbit 🐰 for him. It started as a simple prototype, but somehow I ended up talking with 200+ parents and kids, tech leaders, investors, and people I never imagined meeting around the world. Rabbit now has 100+ people on the waitlist, and 10 kids are using it two to three times per week on average to create their own games 🫡 I’m not sure yet if this will become my full-time project, but I deeply care about it. this is the worst local ai will ever be. it only gets better from here. if you are not expanding your mind with these small models you are missing what's happening right now 99 percent tool call success rate. when steered well with the right skills and a framework like hermes agent the node becomes a cognition layer. not a chatbot. not a toy. an extension of how you think. i was cranking this node at 35 to 50 tok/s all day on personal experiments and now after all the work is done qwen 3.5 9B is iterating on its own code. the game it created. fixing its own bugs autonomously. and the part you should probably not miss is that all of this is happening on a RTX 3060. not an H100. not an A100. the card most of you have sitting in a drawer right now. if you just open that drawer and put that intelligence to work every tensor core on that card should be running for you. your work. your experiments. your thinking. you all have it but because nobody told you what this hardware can actually do in 2026 you never tried. the day it unlocks is the day you test your workload, understand the tradeoffs, debug the loops, and then decide if you need to scale the hardware. there is no point buying 3 mac studios when things done well you can squeeze a similar level of intelligence from 9B compared to 70B. but only when you create the right environment for your model through the right harness. and let me tell you i have tried claude code as a local harness. i have tried opencode. i have tried various others. somehow i landed on hermes agent and never left. there is something magical going on at Nous Research. the tool call parsers, the skills system, the way it handles small models natively. nothing else comes close for local inference. own your cognition. your AI. your agent. your prompts. your experiments. why give them away for free. those are who you are and they don't belong on someone else's servers being monitored. just give it a shot with your existing hardware. you run into a problem the community will help you. and if you are migrating from openclaw to hermes i will personally help you make the switch.

This “carved” granite ball is from South Africa, so some 10.000 kms away. It was carved there and shipped to Hungary - in a paper bag as a powder 🤣 Is it waterproof? Yes. Boiling proof? Yes. Acid proof? Yes. Alkali proof? Yes. Mohs scale: 6-7 Ideal to fool unsuspecting people.
