although i dont think i will get much use of it now, it was one of the things i missed the most when i swapped over to csp 🥲

is this different from the quickmask feature? I haven't used it much

i had to look this up and im gunna be honest its exactly the same, i had no idea csp had this function 😭 i played around with it a bit and it has some of the same issues(or features) my auto action has, i genuinely think i just reverse engineered it oh my god.

the only thing the auto action has going for it is that it's more accessible instead of being tucked away under a dropdown menu. that being said you could probably map quickmask to an auto action and turn it into a button w/o all the extra steps. there goes 3 hours of my life 🫠

fsahljk im sorry but I totally relate. CSP has a lot of functions, I only just found stuff like select color gamut and quickmask like.. this month. There's a lot of oddities stored away in the dropdown menus I mapped quickmask to a shortcut! easy to just toggle

ive run out of buttons on the left side of my keyboard so a button to click would be nice 🥹 ty for telling me!

Oh my gosh! I miss this feature SO MUCH now that I've moved from SAI, would you mind sharing it? QWQ

like beetle0Gutt's reply, i just recreated quick mask, i did streamline it a bit to make it function as close to sai as possible tho

Im not sure if u know this, but in the Quick Access tab, there are many frequently used commands that Clip Studio has pre-set. I actually only just found out about this function from you and was trying to add it to Quick Access, but it already exists! You can also add brushes too

my god i learned something new.....thank you...i use colour gamut a lot but its so awkward to get to so i mapped it to some fucked up keyboard short cut and i kept on going "man i wish this was just a button...."

Hey, this is so cool!!! Could you perhaps put it on the store or show how to make it? The autoselect doesn't really work well for me since I have to manually close the gaps after and the selection pen doesn't autofill...This would be really helpful!!

hi! so my version works exactly the same as csp's built in quick mask, i did streamline it a bit and made it visually closer to paint tool sai's select pen, its not perfect but if your interested:

Hello! Can I ask what brush you used for the line work in this drawing?

Content ID: 1756184 enjoy!

Thank you so much

i actually owe you my life now

I REMADE A FUNCTION CSP ALREADY HAS BUILT IN i sacrificed hours for what

NSKDNDK wait csp does have this function?? where it colours your selection first?

i dm u zen

the more i learn about CSP the more i appreciate Sai

i was sure there's already a select pen in csp??? but i might be mistaken haha..this is cool 😊

yes, the select pen auto selects after you lift your pen tho 🥲 a closer (or i should say exact same) function as the auto action i made is quick mask.

C-can you share it with us 👉👈

its a little clunky;; but let me try and upload it to the csp asset store and write up a little how to use, hold on!

@restoranberlari i love this imma wait for your progress if its accessible :3

@restoranberlari hi! so idk if you have seen the qrt but i basically recreated a function that already exists in csp 😂i did streamline it a bit (and made it more visually similar to SelPen from sai) if you are still curious!

Is this available in the csp shop?

i rebuilt a function already in csp 😭 but i made a little tutorial to streamline the csp version
