I made a tool that bakes NormalizedCrow's FeathersAndFur Shader into the main mesh. This makes it work in fallback, with other shaders like poiyomi, improves performance, and lets you export to external software like Blender!

I added しぐまる 's code to Poiyomi. It stops you from seeing inside people's mesh as easily. It pushes the mesh back so it stays in front of your camera when you get really close. It makes it feel like you can get so much closer.

✨ I made a little demo of #vibejam sponsor Tripo and how you can use it to generate assets for your games In this case I'm generating an apartment flat that's half destroyed and open for my drone sim to fly around, take cover and shoot at enemies from First I write the prompt and select Nano Banana to generate an image first, I get a few different ones, and I select the one I like Then that one is converted into a 3d object called a Smart Mesh Smart Mesh is different than regular image-to-3d models because usually you get issues with uneven polygon distribution, too dense geometry and poor edge flow, so while you think you save time with generating it with AI you end up doing lots of editing after to fix the topology which kinda defeats the point Smart Mesh doesn't have any of this, it's fast and clean low-poly models you can drop into your game Anyway, after generating the model I can then see it in 3d, and if I don't like it, regenerate it, or if I like it start texturing it Once that's done, I export it as a GLB, FBX or OBJ and drop it in (usually I use GLB as ThreeJS seems to prefer that), in my case I just drop the URL into Cursor and let it figure out the placement of the asset into my game!

I highly recommend anyone building a 3D game to add some shaders to make your game look good. I think I found the most intuitive Blender texturing add-on for artists who work with NPR models relying on hand-painting 🥹 This is “Paint System” and I found it really simple to use and navigate! It really feels like using PS/CSP in Blender ദ്ദി(ᵔᗜᵔ) Here’s a simple video showing how layers work (very simple clipping mask & alpha locking too), changing layer blend mode, and you can then bake the layers into 1 & export image! Opacity of each layer can also be adjusted with a slider like in PS/CSP but I forgot to show it hahah It also comes with 2 very nice brushes!! I know there are other add-ons for the same job or can do even more things but just wanted to share this since I found it the most intuitive as someone who hand paints textures a lot in other art programs and have non-existent knowledge over nodes in Blender ;-; Link to the add-on in replies and happy painting!!!! (ᗒ⩊ᗕ)⸝ި ʕᦏ⌎ (yes it’s free! with an option to donate to the creator to support them too)
