100% did this on purpose. Buddy Ryan was the first to take advantage of this rule back in the 80s. He used it inside the 10, this is first time I’ve seen it used like this. I think it was on purpose and it was a master class in coaching

Probably did. Bellichek did this in the Super Bowl too, it’s why in the NFL they kill the play or reset the clock if inside 2 minutes
