I never considered this 😳 This woman has an explanation for those extremely inappropriate prom dresses & it sadly makes a lot of sense because why in the world would a mother send her daughter out like that???

She’s dropping truth bombs! It’s not a race issue either, it’s a culture issue. I’ve seen plenty of single white mothers who have done this.

Yes. It's mothers who will trap their own children and grandchildren. They're thinking about themselves. No morals to speak of & it crosses all boundaries...

@SnarlingCur I just can’t believe what I’m hearing! I thought the idea is to prevent this, so your child can have a better life by going to college FIRST! This is something I’ve never heard of -it’s so shocking!!! It’s crazy. Just awful.

@0riettaRose The ex wife of a friend of mine did this. She let their daughter’s boyfriend start sleeping with her around the age of 15. She figured she’d live off the welfare and child support of her daughter’s once her’s ran out. Ironically, the daughter married the father and moved out.

It's really not! Except no one wants to talk about it because it brings up "sensitive issues" that no one is allowed to say anything about...

It’s devastating that a mother would do that to her own child. I wonder how many generations it has gone through. It’s very likely the mother learned it from her mother.

Yep. This is called the culture of poverty. They play the system to make as much money as they can off of it. You see all those teen takeovers and so forth and wonder where are the parents? They really don’t have any and they weren’t raised. They are truly feral for the culture of poverty and to play the system.

Really sad to see generation after generations of young women being brought up with no self awareness, self respect or self worth. Same with the young men. Self respect is one of the top priorities a parent should instill into their children. Without self respect they don’t have a chance at a functional and fulfilling life.

It's for the welfare not to keep the daughter in a small town. That's the retirement plan. Another 18 years of welfare.

My daughter's senior prom dress was beautiful but it was looooow cut. We bought the dress, took it right to the seamstress, had a bit cut from the silk skirts beneath the top layer, and had it sewn into the cut. It was then not only a beautiful dress, but one suited for an 18 year old girl attending her senior prom. I honestly don't know what's with these parents letting their daughters go out looking like strippers.

The chick who tried pinning her pregnancy on my brother (He was NOT the father), tried convincing her daughter to NOT graduate early. Even though the kid worked hard and earned it. Mom told her to slow it down. Get a few Fs. To take another year. She also told her to have a baby. Luckily, her daughter didn't listen. Generational welfare needs to stop.

Got news for folks . . . mothers of all races . . . married or single . . . do things all the time to undercut their children in order to keep them around. Some are just more covert than this example. Mostly they use emotional blackmail . . . other times they use narcissist tactics to undermine the child's confidence to make decisions so that they are to run the child's life into adulthood. One of the most twistedly evil attitudes on the planet. If you as a young adult recognize this, get as far away from your mother as possible. If that includes cutting off all contact . . . do it.

Grew up around a TON of blacks. To say this is not new, would be an understatement. The only novel idea is that its the mom looking for a payout. But believe me, there will be strife, bc that 16yo girl knows damn well EXACTLY how much that kid is gonna get her in SNAP, welfare, Section 8, and weekly CASH from the (now) drug dealer baby daddy.

One of those times when you're presented with information and that sinking feeling in your gut tells you that you're hearing truth. How does the taxpayer stop paying for it all? It's going to drag us all down.

I’ve heard mothers tell their teenagers not to work because then she can’t claim them for government benefits. There’s also government funding for grandparents who raise the child and grandchild in the same house with them.

I've seen white women in trailer parks use their daughters like this, so this isn't limited to the black population. It's trashy women ensuring their daughters cannot escape the garbage dump. Black people just have their own version of the same practice.

That’s why God didn’t bless me with girls. I couldn’t handle the way girls dress and act. The schools should not be allowing these girls to wear these dresses or lack of dresses. That yellow one is disgusting. Should never be allowed at a high school prom

She missed a couple things. Grandma watches the teen's baby while the teen works. Grandma now gets to claim the baby for SNAP, avoid work requirements, and claim baby on taxes as a dependent to get a nice tax return. Ask me how I know this.

I once was the president of prom and saw girls leave the house in one dress and change in the car into a dress that looked like it was made with one square foot of cloth and I thought- they might as well go naked. Side note- I have all boys! 🤔

I grew up in a working class neighborhood and I can sincerely say that in my senior year I was shocked at how many girls tried to get pregnant. It was like they had no idea where to go from HS & it was the girls who didnt care about their grades/reputations.

Wow so now it makes sense. Crazy generational dependency perpetuated. It’s not the white people holding black people back they do it to themselves. Don’t get educated get pregnant no daddy around, file for every govt program available so they don’t have to work. A drag on society

I have a foster kid who is an adult now that I keep in touch with and I can confirm this is 100% the mentality of poor black communities. More babies equals more welfare and they don’t want them to leave or do better than them… To this day, when she starts trying to do her own thing, go to school , etc…her mom pulls her back in and sabotages her. Her youngest sister is the one I really feel sorry for. She’s become the chosen one for mom’s full time caretaker.

Well it used to be the mom sent the daughter out to get pregnant at 14 and raised her grandchild as her own for the welfare benefits from raising a grandchild. Mom couldn’t have a child to raise until her child had one. And so forth.
