Yes, sinning against God (major/minor) is a serious offense. But he's underestimating the magnitude of the Creator's attributes when he says God can't forgive w/o a great sacrifice. He ﷻ is the Creator of the seven Heavens and Earth, why would forgiving everyone weary Him?
