🚨 New Crypto Pop-Up Is Draining Users 🚨 If you use a crypto wallet, you're familiar with the embedded browser pop-up that prompts you to sign transactions. However, scammers are now exploiting this in an updated scam tactic. When a user navigates to a scam site via social engineering, sponsored scam ads, or scam comments on X with a look-alike link, it mirrors the real website, in this case, to claim a Jupiter airdrop (not real). The website mirrors the real site exactly and follows the normal flow: clicking "connect wallet," then detecting which wallets you have installed in the browser. In this VM, I have MetaMask 🦊 and Phantom installed, so it detected both. I was already logged into MetaMask, so when I clicked on it, instead of prompting me within the MetaMask browser extension, it created a new pop-up window (separate browser window) impersonating MetaMask, displaying the URL and mimicking the real MetaMask behavior. Since my MetaMask wallet was empty, it said I "was not eligible". But if I had any funds in the wallet, it would have prompted for a wallet-draining signature/approval. When I tested with Phantom, it followed the same flow. However, because I wasn't logged into Phantom, the fake window impersonating Phantom popped up first, followed by the real Phantom prompt within the browser asking me to log in so that way the scam window pop up could prompt me for a scam approval/signature to drain that wallet after I logged into my legit wallet. While you may be watching this closely and catching the red flags, like the scam Vercel app URL showing in the address bar, many people don't read anything when prompted for a wallet connection or signature. They simply click. This scam has already drained many wallets because people click without taking even one second to review what they're signing. Always, no matter what, take at least a few seconds to review what you're signing in your wallet each time. Something as simple as noticing the URL bar could save you from losing everything….. A young boy's rant about living in USA. Also a message for Indians who are obsessed to go to USA in search of alleged "Better life" There's no point in living in the U.S. anymore. Think about it, bruh, the obsession with productivity, the obsession with money, the obsession with status, the obsession with being better than the next person instead of better together. The obsession with competing with other people instead of just comparing who you truly were to who you were a year ago. Everything is monetized, everything is politicized, everything is divided. Even empathy feels conditional. And what really gets me is the way this country treats immigrants. Or better yet, the way it lies about why it treats immigrants the way it does. They act like people are breaking into some sacred paradise, like people are desperate to get into something holy. For what? For debt? For rent that eats half your paycheck? For healthcare that bankrupts you? For a system that does not protect you unless you're useful to it? Bro, people don't come here because America is amazing. They come here because America marketed itself better than it treated people. Remember, America is not a country, it's a business. And now the mask is slipping. What this country actually values is not freedom, it's control. Not life, labor. Not community, consumption. You're free as long as you don't disrupt anything. You're welcome as long as you're profitable. You're human as long as you're quiet. We only respect you if you're valuable and you're easy to conform and control. And if you don't fit the mold, if you question it, if you refuse to worship the system, you're told to be grateful, you're told to shut up, you're told it could be worse, you're told you're crazy. That's the bar. It could be worse. It could be worse? What? I don't hate America. I'm just disappointed in it, bro, because it could have been so much more. It should be so much more. But instead of evolving, it doubled down. Instead of healing, it hardened. Instead of listening, it punished. Instead of building community, instead of building unity, it sells isolation and calls it independence. And I'm at a point in my life where I don't want to just survive inside a system that drains me and calls it opportunity. I want peace, I want community, I want unity, I want love, I want connection, I want affordability. I want to live, bro, I want to live. I'm tired of living in survival mode, bro. I'm tired of having to constantly brace myself for the worst, bro. And look, if that makes me ungrateful, so be it. So f*cking be it. If that makes people uncomfortable, good, because pretending like this is the greatest country on earth while people are drowning is a load of f*cking bullshit. It is not patriotism, it is denial. And I am done lying to myself about that. And until this country actually values life over profit, safety over status, people over systems, connection over individuality, I don't see a reason to stay quiet and I don't see a reason to stay

.Rob Miles is spitting fire: “People are starting from a prior in which ‘[AIs] are safe until you give me an airtight case for why they're dangerous.’ This framing is exhausting. You explain one of the 10,000 ways that AIs could be dangerous, then they explain why they don't think that specific thing would happen. Then you have to change tack, and then they say, 'your story keeps changing'... "If you're building an AGI, it's like building a Saturn V rocket [but with every human on it]. It's a complex, difficult engineering task, and you're going to try and make it aligned, which means it's going to deliver people to the moon and home again. People ask “why assume they won't just land on the Moon and return home safely?" And I'm like, because you don't know what you're doing! If you try to send people to the moon and you don't know what you're doing, your astronauts will die. [Unlike the telephone, or electricity, where you can assume it’s probably going to work out okay] I contend that ASI is more like the moon rocket. "The moon is small compared with the rest of the sky, so you don't get to the moon by default - you hit some part of the sky that isn't the moon. So, show me the plan by which you predict to specifically hit the moon." And then people say, “how do you predict that [AIs] will want bad things?” There's more bad things than good things! It's not actually a complicated argument... I'm not going to predict specifically where it off into random space your astronauts are going, but you're not going to hit the moon unless you have a really good, technically clear plan for how you do it. And if you ask these people for their plan, they don't have one. What's Yann Lecun’s plan?” "I think that if you're building an enormously powerful technology and you have a lot of uncertainty about what's going to happen, this is bad. Like, this is default unsafe. If you've got something that's going to do enormously influential things in the world, and you don't know what enormously influential things it's going to do, this thing is unsafe until you can convince me that it's safe." HOST: “That’s a good way of thinking about it - with some technologies you can assume that the default will be good or at least neutral, or that the capacity of a person to use this in a very bad way is bounded somehow. There's just only so many people you could electrocute one by one."

TikTok just released new terms of service and make all accounts agree to them. American ran them through AI, here’s the breakdown - You can't be critical of political figures - Political groups could be blacklisted. A lot of the violation could be so it's subject to interpretation, their interpretation - In matters of social unrest or crisis, they can just change the rules, shut it down completely, whatever they decide to do - You're not allowed to mention other platforms, anything misleading, even if it's a joke. Can't tell jokes anymore because somebody might be confused - You are not allowed to criticize religion - There's a ban on dangerous stunts, so no more Nicki Minaj challenges with the high heels - You're not allowed to say sexy on your live feeds - You're also not allowed to say any brand names - You can't use AI to edit something or make it more realistic - You can't do anything funny with your pet if it's staged, they can say no, that's a violation - Can't have anything to do with being too skinny. No more skinny talk. - The prevention of harm. If they deem it that it could hurt somebody financially or emotionally, that rule is very vague and subject to just whatever they feel like saying - They can pull your video from the FYP page without deleting it, just calling it ineligible - They can decide if your video is not suitable for under 18 - They can change the rules on the fly, depending on where you're viewing from, like your geographic location. - Showing flags or logos in any kind of speech or using objects like, you know, how some people hold up the papers and stuff, that won't be allowed anymore. - If they decide your video helps a banned group, whoever they choose to ban, if they decide that you're helping them, that's a violation - If someone picks a fight with you and you do a clap back, that's a violation - If you've done things on a different platform, that's a violation - On TikTok now they reserve the right to limit who can search your videos, depending on if they like the content or not - If you win an appeal now, it doesn't mean that you're going to get back on the for you page. That doesn't. That doesn't matter anymore. You can win, but they still reserve the right to not show your video on the fyp - If you post a link, that can get your account banned completely. Not even a violation, just banned. “This is just crazy. This goes to, in fact, in effect September 13th. I think that's also when they're supposed to roll out the new TikTok for the United States. That'll probably have more rules than this one.”
