Every person that's ever worked in a restaurant knew this. Nobody voluntarily works that hard for the pay they get - unless they also get to do drugs undetected.

If you ever managed a restaurant? You KNOW THIS. Especially when they call in sick right after they get paid and give you 5 minutes notice. So you have to take their place on the line dressed up and wearing a stinking tie. 😡🤬🤬🤬👽

Oh yeah. Kitchen staff are stoners. If there's laughter music going too. Its a smooth running kitchen.

when I worked at a restaurant in college one of the line cooks shot up heroin in the bathroom and passed out on the kitchen floor afterwards. Dude just got sent home for the day and was still employed there when I left lol

Accurate, although the best line cook I ever worked with was an ex-con, apparantly did cullinary arts stuff in lock up. Dude was magic.

I think they'll even let people with face tattoos do that work too.

Line cook is usually a place holder job for something. It's exhausting and doesn't pay what it deserves. Probably why they are druggies. Line cooks work "The Line" usually to make ends meet but if you don't watch your Hot Behind one day you'll blink and be a long haired 50yr old

Someone at work asked me about where to buy drugs. I replied “you work in a kitchen, literally ask anyone” the first guy that walked by sold him drugs.

As a former line cook this is 100% dead on balls accurate

Every line always has at least 1-2 cooks who are felons. Never fails.

I had no idea until I met my neighbor across the street. He was a trained chef studying in America and Europe. He was a salesman for Sysco. I asked him why he was not working as a chef, see video above.
