I agree one hundred percent. Every time we have relied on human judgmen, whether our own or that of some advisors, we have found ourself at a dead end. The only path that truly moves us forward, and thus ultimately saves us, is to follow Christ, that is, to follow the Word of God as recorded in Scripture. Through His son, He paved the way to healing for each of us. Thus, it is a true Way of the Cross for every willing. But we all know how it ends : it's worth it.
