I often post long drive swings which for many look too exaggerated. Here is one of my hardest working students who has moved his ball speed from mid 160,s to above 180. A large speed gain but still tailored to him playing high level golf

172.5 MPH CLUB HEAD SPEED! 🤯 I’ve watched this swing 20 times. Every time my back hurts. 😂 Sam Attanasio has set the driver club head speed record. He also co-holds the ball speed record of 245 MPH. My brain can’t even comprehend this lol. 245 ball speed is absolutely nuts. Is this speed useful for the course? No. But his cruising speed surely is 140mph easy. And players are learning from the long drive guys and getting faster and faster. 🎥: drsamattanasio on I G

Before speed training, my longest drive on a launch monitor was 257 yards. After speed training, my longest drive was 332 yards. That's a 75-yard gain! The video compares these two swings side-by-side, and the difference is eye-opening. Speed training didn't just help me hit it farther—it completely changed what I thought was possible. Today's YouTube video features my fastest speed training session ever and premieres at 3:00 PM CT. If you're looking for more distance, you won't want to miss it! If you'd like to learn how I generate speed, compress the ball, and build a more powerful Classic Golf Swing, join me at my next Classic Swing Weekend Golf School on June 20-21 at Grapevine Golf Course. I want to hit 195mph ball speed by the end of the year, and be over 190mph a lot when training. That should enable a 180-185mph on course range comfortable. Two technique elements I’ve been trying are a wider stance and a harder push from my left to right foot to get the swing started. Young-Hoo Kwon is big on a counter movement to get the swinging initiated and promote a good sequence. (Dr Kwon’s material is great, I am level 2 certified in his golf mechanics course 🤓). I’ll be doing some more speed training with driver and TheStack and working on my technique a bit. I’ve some ideas for structuring speed sessions I haven’t tried before that I will experiment with. Basically, using a variety of different drills that will challenge me in different ways, rather than just trying to figure out swinging faster by hitting a bunch of balls (which can be really effective). Might have had a couple extra mph ball speed with a proper ball here. I’ll save the “max effort” sessions for the sim. They aren’t as practical on the range.

In my 5 years of sim racing… Lewis Hamilton’s SF-25 is one of the hardest cars to drive on the limit😭 out of nowhere the rear has these snappy moments of oversteer at high speed, so you’re constantly anticipating a slide and correcting the car to not crash😅

I lived in California for 23 years of my life and the entire time I watched them “work” on building the high speed railways which, today, is still nowhere near completion Moved back to Laos and now I get to enjoy HSR that was built in 4 years in my home country thanks to China

The Phillies moving Trea Turner off SS is inevitable, because it has to be (see video quoted here). Here are two more notes about Trea: 1) He STILL has 99th % speed (over 30 ft/sec in 2025) 2) Few players have ever caught a 5% ball, here's one that Trea got to fairly easily in 2016. Jump of +7.0 feet above average:

I bit the bullet and set Jackson up with a driver fitting this evening. I knew he hit it far, but didn’t know any of his numbers. Spoke to the pro after the fitting who sent me this video: Fastest swing was 118 mph. Ball speeds mid 160s into the 170s He has been playing my old clubs which were stiff shafts so he was a bit wild off the tee before. Fitter fit him into a Titleist driver head with an X-stiff shaft. Got the spin rates down to the low 2000s and he said Jackson’s control with the Titleist was remarkable. I am sooooooooo screwed. I could out drive him before because I could control my spin. I figured my older head and weaker shaft was hurting him. I could watch his semi-weird swing all day long. His back swing to me, while on plane, does not look very powerful, but his lag is sooo natural and he uses his 6 foot, 210 pound frame to send it. So awesome to see him playing the game again! #NonGolfHistory

Nobody is competing with Solana for speed... According to data from Chainspect, Solana is by far the fastest blockchain network by TPS, boasting some 1,543 tx/s at time of writing. $SOL flipped DFINITY Foundation $ICP two weeks ago, the former unable to reclaim top spot with a weekly throughput of just 1,026 tx/s - still well above the next fastest network in BNB Chain $BNB which has just 162 tx/s at time of writing.

There’s no one golf swing that’s perfect for everyone. But I love looking at this one. Charles Howell III 🔄 Little flair at setup with both feet, helps free up a little range of motion to help his turn. 🏌I always notice how stable the middle of CH3’s body stays during his swing, especially his head movement. Body never seems to slide or tilt too far away from the ball.

One of the biggest detractors from the FSD user experience is the last-second lane changes, often leading to completely missing, or narrowly missing an exit or turn. And at high speed, that’ll make the hairs on your neck stand up. Tesla has solved seemingly the hardest aspects of autonomy… yet this navigation/lane planning issue keeps showing up version after version. This is my official plea to Tesla AI please make navigation a priority.

Anthony Kim has been working with golf coach Matt Killen, who has previously worked with Justin Thomas and Tiger Woods, and the main issue affecting consistency last year was his alignment: “Yeah, since I've been back playing golf, my shoulders have been right, my feet have been further right. So, I'm just trying to see my target before I hit the shot. “I've had a few people help me with the setup of golf clubs, but I’m really not working too much on my golf swing, just working on my setup. And if I can get that squared away, I know I can hit a lot of good shots.” AK was practicing down the range before every round on the Asian Tour last year using alignment sticks and doing a little shimmy to get the feels right. The swing is clearly still as pure as it’s always been and sometimes, it just takes getting the basics right to take the game to a new level. Now he’s a winner again after 16 years 👊

Pistons screaming for a carry on this Mitchell drive. Problem is, he loses control of the dribble, at which point he can take as many steps as he likes as it floats alongside his body. From there, he's allowed to gain control with ONE hand and dribble it again.
