Could they not have just slapped together a singleplayer campaign with all the enemies and maps already in the game? Im not a big fan of fromsoft pvp so its sad that this game leans so heavily into it

It is kinda sad it's Switch 2 only because this with crossplay between Switch 2, PS5, PC and Xbox would've been very cool. And I say this only because Switch 2's online is still incredibly spotty.

My main concern is if like Nightreign it becomes incredibly min-maxed very fast, with flat out the best routes laid out, leaving many things unexplored. Since you mentioned there's no gain for killing players beyond specific circumstances, there's no real "stopping players".
