WHAT A TRAGEDY! I can’t believe this happened to these beautiful little girls. A future has been cut off in such a painful manner that is so difficult to come to terms with. May God keep their innocent souls in perfect peace. My prayers are with the bereaved families. May the joy of the Lord strengthen you to enable you go through this difficult phase of your life. THE LOST OF ANY CHILD ANYWHERE IS THE LOST OF A FUTURE EVERYWHERE. Can a mother leave her children? Certainly not! But the painful thing here is that, as the mother cannot leave her children, in this regrettable condition, the children have left their mothers. As a mother, I can deeply relate with the mothers of these kids and what they may be going through by now. It is too painful to remember and too painful to forgive. At this moment all I wish to say is that, I pray for grace to be sufficient for you in this condition. I pray for strength for the both families of the kids. I pray for healing of hurts for all involved in this painful tragedy. I pray for love and empathy for the victims and sympathy for all who may need it. With a very heart I say PLEASE HAVE MY CONDOLENCES… GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!!!

As disciples of Jesus Christ, we seek to follow the Master’s example as we mourn with those who mourn and comfort those who stand in need of comfort. As I visited earlier this week with survivors of the California wildfires, I was impressed by their faith and their goodness. Despite their own trials, they have continued to diligently look for opportunities to love and serve one another. We plead to heaven for all those around the world who are affected by tragedies. May we all feel God’s love and find the comfort we seek.

Watching this video, I feel deep, sorrow, and condemn the recent shootings against peaceful protestors in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is disheartening to witness such brutality inflicted upon innocent Pakistanis, exercising their fundamental right to peaceful protest. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of those who have tragically lost their lives, and I pray for the families' strength and solace during this difficult time. Albeit, it is imperative that these occurances are halted, resolved with urgency and justice, however to do so, and in the face of such oppression, collective agitation and steadfast resistance are much needed to bring the revolution in Pakistan once for all.

Earlier today, I visited some families affected by the recent floods. Their courage in the face of such heartbreaking loss is truly inspiring. In my own little way I’m providing some support to some affected persons, and I encourage fellow Ghanaians to lend a helping hand where you can to help someone affected by this disaster. May the good Lord comfort every grieving family, strengthen every affected community and guide us as we work together to rebuild. We will recover together.

Punjab has been hit hard by the floods — families have lost their homes, their cattle, their crops, and in some heartbreaking cases, even their loved ones. Yet, one thing about Punjabis stands tall: their unbreakable spirit. Even in the face of so much loss, they remain hopeful and look forward to better days ahead. I visited a few villages yesterday and did whatever little I could to support our families — whether it was helping with shelter, food, children’s education, or medicines. Today, I visited the community of Commodore in Linstead, St. Catherine, to personally extend my deepest condolences to the families affected by the senseless and brutal attack that claimed the lives of four innocent Jamaicans. This is a tragedy that has left an entire community shaken. I met with relatives and loved ones who are grieving deeply, parents, children, and elders whose lives have been torn apart. The government will mobilize support for the victims and their families, including counselling and any practical assistance during this painful time. Too often, public discussions around crime forget the victims. Today, I want to remind Jamaica that they must remain at the centre of our national conscience. The children who lost a mother, the grandmother who lost her grandson, the father who lost his son, they deserve justice, compassion, and a safer country. To those who continue to sow fear and violence, we will find you, and justice will be served. Let us, as a nation, work together to restore peace and protect every Jamaican life.
