One complaint I hear often from parents my age & older is that “kids these days” don’t play outside like we used to. They’re glued to screens, not active, & not adventurous enough. Honestly, I find this frustrating because kids don't get to choose. Kids aren’t broken. Their environment is. As parents, we set that environment!! Author Jonathan Haidt, in his book The Anxious Generation, puts it perfectly: “We have overprotected our children in the real world while underprotecting them online." •Stop codling kids. •Get them outside playing. •Parents must lead by example. LEAD THEM to health, adventure, & even if they get a little boo-boo along the way it'll be ok!!

I realized that if I showed my kids what I wanted them to do, like read in the morning or spend less time on screens, I had to set the example for them. Now if a kid wakes up early, they become a part of my routine.

Not being able to do things with the kids is a biggy. I miss this so much. From family bike rides, to walks, to seeing them perform their music. I feel like I'm not being the parent I should be. It's so difficult.

I remember doing this in high school, tiptoeing to the door and sneaking out at night, taking the car and getting my friends and making a Taco Bell run or just driving around. Now I have kids I couldn’t imagine waking up and seeing the kids gone and my car gone, what would you do if you caught your kids sneaking out?

This woman lives on a culdesac where there are seven houses. Six of the seven neighbors are close and all their kids play outside together. The one neighbor can’t stand it. So, the rest of them decided to buy a basketball hoop and put it in the street to give the kids even more to do. 😂 I love seeing kids outside playing in my neighborhood. Would this bother you if every day you came home there were kids playing outside on your street?

Some kids came up to our door, lit a firework, and ran. It could easily be mistaken for a gunshot because it was similar to an M80 and loud. If I was home at the time it went off, I would have gone in defense mode for my family. This is the last thing you want to do in Texas. I'm all for kids being kids but this is too far for a prank.

Sooo, we actually made this for teenagers and somehow it got played on Saturday morning to unsuspecting kids eating there suger cereals. I am sure there was some carpet cleaning in several homes when this played, but now you are all grown up so enjoy!! Mr. Meaty #tapeworm

I can normally hold my own on roller coasters but I had to do this one at Legoland back-to-back so both my kids could go and it broke me. I had to sit down after and wasn’t the same the rest of the day. Am I washed?
