what i personally have a tough time with is that i always tell myself; "well if im not selling, that means i think it will go up, and if i think it will go up, why dont i just buy more here" and its not that i always do buy more, its even that I dont sell because of that.

And now I make as much money in a year that I would have made in a lifetime having a regular job. So dropping out of school was the best decision I’ve ever made. The funny thing is most of my friends don’t really know how much; how successful I am. Like they think I’m making like as much money as I would in a normal job.”

15 YEARS OF TRADING ADVICE I started trading in 2011, and my first lesson was brutal but simple: trust the process and focus on getting better every day. My start was awful. Real-time trading was fast, chaotic, and unforgiving. I hesitated on entries, chased moves, and held losers far past my stop. I made the same mistakes over and over. Before long, I was at the back of my training class at Trillium Trading. Progress didn’t come from trading more — it came when I stepped back and built a framework for improvement: deliberate practice, structured review, and systemizing my work. I wasn’t making money yet, but my win rate and consistency were improving. That mattered. In 2012, I learned something that changed everything: most profits come from very few opportunities. I coined the “Broken Slot Machine” concept and drastically narrowed my focus to in-play stocks — names with exceptional volume, volatility, or fresh news. Cutting out noise was a turning point. I still trade this way today. 2013 was my breakthrough year. I stopped chasing complexity and built a small playbook of “easy money” trades — simple, repeatable setups with defined risk. A few mean-reversion plays. Small, consistent wins. Fewer unforced errors. That’s when my PNL finally stabilized and my confidence started compounding. In 2014, I nearly blew up my career. A fat-tail after-hours loss wiped out over $100K in minutes. That drawdown forced me to build strict drawdown protocols — daily, weekly, and monthly loss limits with zero exceptions. Those rules didn’t just save my career — they’ve saved countless others since. By 2015, I shifted my mindset away from obsessing over PNL and toward improving expected value every day — what I now call the Bobblehead Concept. Red days became feedback. Growth became the metric. That mindset carried me through the emotional swings of trading. In 2016, I learned how much environment matters. Trading isn’t purely an individual sport. Being surrounded by serious traders — sharing ideas, accountability, and lessons — accelerated growth faster than anything else. In 2017, I adopted the Daily Report Card habit. Daily reflection. One improvement at a time. Treating trading like a professional athlete reviewing game film. This single habit was foundational to everything that followed. In 2018, I stopped trying to be early. I learned to wait for the right side of the V — letting moves exhaust before entering. Risk dropped. Win rate rose. Size increased. Being right mattered more than being first. From 2019 onward, it was about 1% improvements, adaptability, and pressing size only when edge was extreme. 2020 rewarded preparation. After almost 10 years of trading, COVID hit and it was a day trader's dream market. Most traders scale linearly, but the real outlier performance comes from identifying when you have an A+ setup and absolutely maximizing it. Doing so allowed me to have my first year making over $10m in PNL. By 2021, my technical skills were dialed in. What mattered most was psychology and performance optimization. I realized that how I managed my mental game determined how consistently I could execute at the highest level. Once you have edge, your mental state is what determines how consistently you stick to your system and capture the opportunities in front of you. Strong mental game allows you to avoid FOMO, ragetrading, and other bad habits that leech our PNL. 2022 the markets slowed down and punished many that didn't adapt. I realized that survival in trading isn’t about always being aggressive—it’s about trading based on what the market requires of you. The best traders don’t try to force the market to fit them, they fit their trading to the market and evolve faster than everyone else. 2023 I started allocating more energy toward swing trading—holding positions for days rather than seconds or minutes. This, coupled with selling options premium, gave me the space to step back, zoom out, and build a more sustainable lifestyle. I was no longer glued to the screen 10 hours a day. It reminded me that trading is a means to an end. 2024, I pushed myself to go beyond stocks. I dove deeper into options, futures, and overnight trading. Each new product came with its own quirks, nuances, and edge opportunities. Learning these instruments wasn’t just about more tools—it was about building a truly diversified and adaptable trading approach that maximizes your expected value based on the situation. At the elite level, the more markets and products you open yourself up to, the more opportunities you have to profit and the more mediums you have to express your trade in the most effective way possible. Now at the end of 2025, after 15 years, the biggest lesson is this: There’s no finish line in this game. The best traders stay curious. They stay hungry. And no matter how good you get, if you’re going to stay relevant in markets, you need to always be learning. here we go again. It’s a pretty common theme to attack me and discredit everything I do, regardless of what I share to prove otherwise. Why? Because it gains traction for all the influencers. i wanted to address the “paper trading” allegations on X, but before i do i want to point out that the ones capitalizing on the engagement are the same ones who have flip flopped their narrative on me again and again. the same people saying i’m a paper trader suddenly decide my trading is real when im losing or in drawdown. whatever positioning gets them the most engagement is the narrative they run with. I’ve been trading for 11 years now and have a longer track record than most in this space. If you go back and watch my YouTube videos you’ll see my broker statements presented. I can appreciate healthy skepticism and will continue to show the statements to those it benefits. Now let’s address the paper trading allegation. A video is floating around that I posted where you see “paper trading” on my screen. Yes, I had paper trading open. But why is the first assumption that I’m a paper trader? Am I not allowed to open paper trading? If I do, I’m immediately a paper trader? That window was open because I tell everyone in my community to paper trade first and I walk them through how to do it. See the attached video that I recorded for my community where you can clearly see paper trading open while I’m walking them through TradingView paper trading. Now let’s assume I’m lying about that and people still want to call me a paper trader simply because I had paper trading open while teaching my community. That would mean I don’t trade real money and that I’m not profitable. Well I’ve posted my broker statements for the last four years, all on YouTube. See attached. Let’s also address my recent trade where I made $18k. When I posted it, people on X said it was fake and that it was paper trading because of certain settings. Here is the attached order ID number for that trade. I’m up $57k this year so far and I’ve stopped sharing trades and updates with the trading community because regardless of whether I share or not, people will continue to come at me because it gets views. here's how I got into futures trading for the first time and ran my account from $3k to $600k. so I just came across my old IG story highlight from around this time last year. no stoplosses just longing BTC and majors at every pullback at one point I was up and down $300k-$700k on some days, yet still didn't have a real idea on any system for myself. this was the true definition of left curving, before left curving became a term. learned a lot from this run, and I know I can do it again. the hard part about this was that I was sharing updates inside kaizen when i was on this tear, but i was still learning myself and unsure of what i was doing. i've been spending the last few weeks really exploring and learning the whole trading niche. i thought for the longest time, my biggest disdvantage was that i didn't have the trading experience and background a lot of the guys in the space already have, but i've come to realize this is gonna be my edge. as im learning, i have the best perspective as a beginner and can make sense of complicated topics. in 2026 I hope to be one of the few creators who can really democratize trading for mass retail in a responsible (non - gambly way). Before that, I was pretty active on Ethereum since around 2020. So what made me switch to Solana ? It started when someone from my private group pointed out the potential of Solana, the speed, the low fees, and how early the ecosystem still felt at the time. Alright, now it’s time for us to get back to the story. I wanna share my personal experience trading memecoins (and some utility plays) on Solana over the past 1 year and 4 months. Before that, I was pretty active on Ethereum since around 2020. So what made me switch to Solana ? It started when someone from my private group pointed out the potential of Solana, the speed, the low fees, and how early the ecosystem still felt at the time. Funny thing is, I actually heard about Solana when it was already at $80, but I didn’t really touch it until it hit around $100, and I started with 20 SOL as capital. It was sometime around February 2024 (don’t remember the exact date), when I first tried trading memecoins on Solana. Back then, wasn’t even popping yet, most devs were still launching manually. No fancy bots, no real token scanners, just pure risk. ( Correct me if I’m wrong about when first launched. ) Honestly, in the beginning, it was tough. New tokens popping up every second, rugs left and right, Solana was in hype mode, and everyone wanted to launch something. But by April, things started to click. I was finally making profits trading Solana coins, memecoins, lowcap utilities, all that. If I compare it to now, I’d say it was way easier back then to catch early entries. I’m way over my 10,000 hours chart time / trading since 2016 When I was illegally working in clubs and bars in nyc or when I was running my own 7 figures businesses in Miami I was putting in 2 to 10 hours into learning the skill of trading EVERY SINGLE DAY On my own on my computer from 0 Absolute 0 and I always had bills to pay I was working all day 7/7 and I had a social life crushing it in nyc I just wasn’t sleeping much but when you’re a young bull on your grind you’re waking up first thing because you’re hungry When I went full time trading in 2020 I was putting in close to 100 hours a week Always been passionate about it and was finally able to focus solely on my trading full time Living the dream Most ppl can’t even put in 18 min a day into anything I know for a fact because I’ve been trying to put on irl friends for years and until this day Most ppl just don’t have it 0 discipline 0 consistency Most ppl are just meant to be employees Work their job get home watch netflix drink on weekends and talk about other ppl, their dreams or random shit Nothing wrong with that as long as you accept that you’ll never be the big dawg Discipline is in the choices you make all day everyday 🏴‍☠️

I first met Abid Hassan 🇮🇳 12 years ago when he and his friends were building the first version of Sensibull - India's No:1 Options Trading Platform. The original idea was to help traders and investors make better decisions, like helping them avoid going against the trend, being diversified, etc. In many ways, they were well ahead of their time. We couldn't figure out how to make the platform work while complying with regulations. Abid went back to trading options for a trading desk, but I continued peddling him the idea that he should start something related to the markets. In 2018, he finally decided to start Sensibull - India's No:1 Options Trading Platform. This time, the idea was to help option traders do better. The problem was extremely close to our hearts, and we backed it through Rainmatter by Zerodha. The idea was to nudge customers to think of strategies versus trading naked and avoid other obvious mistakes. Today, after being around for 7+ years, I don't think we are successful yet in our mission to help traders 😬. But that said, Abid and the team have come a long way in helping traders do better. Considering a lot of traders might not know about Sensibull, we thought of making a quick video explaining Sensibull in 2 minutes. 😃
