Genuinely the only acceptable MINIMUM punishment is stripping the titles they’ve won where the 115 charges is prevalent cause they’ll recover from point deductions/relegations and fines Everyone says about earning the titles and the truth of the matter is they haven’t earned them, if the Premier League allows City to keep the trophies then it sets a dangerous precedent of “cheat as much as you like and you can keep your titles and medals” which will make the league into a joke and I imagine the higher powers of the Prem won’t want that

League 2 would be my first choice, but the Prem can’t dump City into the EFL and inadvertently relegate another club. So: Championship relegation + 20-point deduction for each of their first 4 PL seasons back. Add a 3-year transfer ban and massive compensation. Don’t strip titles

Problem is if you punish them the way you are suggesting the club will collapse, if that happens you have a stadium and an entire area that will be left to rot. Over 3000 people lose their jobs also over 10,000+ jobs are affected if man city didnt exist

Comparing City to Chelsea is poor. For one they got bought by completly new ownership (forced I might add by the UK government); new owners came in realised the books were cooked and notified the Premier League. City on the other hand the entire way through denied the allegations and tried to get away with it.
