There is truth to what Lavrov is saying. Ask Foreign Minister Lavrov, if Ukraine returns to a state of neutrality, would Russia take a solemn oath never to invade any of the Baltic and Nordic countries ...in perpetuity? And as long as Ukraine remains in neutrality, and none of them attack Russia, then would Russia in return not advance farther into Ukraine? This could be the Spring Compromise to end the war in Ukraine. Neutrality for Ukraine is best for all involved. Let's end this horrific war of hate. Let's stop thousands upon thousands more young people from being senselessly slaughtered. Let's initiate this compromise or a similar one now. 🌻 Maybe there's a slight chance Putin would agree to this? It wouldn't hurt to ask. Thank you!

They gave Russians idea that Americans would let them keep fighting, would get Ukrainians to give up their territory. Putin was never seriously interested in ending the war. We’ve never seen any sign that he’s willing to accept ceasefire. If Trump had come to power and said, “I’m going to continue to support Ukraine, I want Ukraine to win the war.” Then this war might be over by now, because this war will be over when Russians understand that they can’t win. When Russians finally understand that Ukraine will not become a Russian colony, and that it’s not worth fighting. Most colonial wars last about 10 years.
