I spoke with an IDF soldier immediately after this attack. He didn’t know outposts are illegal under Israeli law, didn’t know the settlers who attacked us were living in Area A, and believed the Palestinian home they’d occupied belonged to them. Also sounds pretty American to me!

Settlers attacks are becoming more common and are frequently provoked and supported by two Israeli ministers Smotrich and Ben- Gvir who are illegal settlers themselves living in two illegal settlements in the West Bank.
