I spoke with an IDF soldier immediately after this attack. He didn’t know outposts are illegal under Israeli law, didn’t know the settlers who attacked us were living in Area A, and believed the Palestinian home they’d occupied belonged to them. Also sounds pretty American to me!

A few videos of last night’s attack, when violent settlers invaded umm al-khair to plant Israeli flags and try to steal another tract of land. Take note of all the cheap shots. Throwing a tiny female activist to the ground. Knees to the groin. Kicking someone while hiding behind a friend. Taking a shot at my throat. And then scampering to the IDF when they arrived to cry victim. To be clear — the Palestinians and their allies did not ask for this confrontation, and did not throw a single punch back, which would have resulted in an immediate arrest if not murder. All they want is to be left alone in their tiny peaceful village.

“Go to Jenin as a Jew,” they say, “see how they treat you.” Okay. I went back for the third time. This time a couple of tough guys from the refugee camp challenged me to an armwrestling tournament. I won’t be sharing the remaining footage, but suffice it to say, I survived.

October 19, 2025. On the first day of the olive harvest in Turmus'ayyer, the Israeli Defense Force leads a group of farmers directly into a brutal ambush by armed settlers. These people need to be in prison by tomorrow, and the people of this village, and all across Palestine, need to be protected. Enough is enough.

Huckabee: “I know that if it weren’t for Iran, there wouldn’t be Hamas, there wouldn’t be the Houthis, there wouldn’t be Hezbollah, we wouldn’t have the problem on the border with Lebanon…” Tucker: “What problem on the border with Lebanon? I’m an American, I’m not having any problems on the border with Lebanon right now. I live in Maine.”

My sister, home for Thanksgiving with her kids, secretly recorded my mom making her daily calls to Kirsten Gillibrand, Chuck Schumer, and Rep. George Latimer—demanding they work to free Mohammed and save Umm al-Kheir—while she was supposed to be watching her grandkids.

I’m in Qusra, where masked settlers have been coming down from a Palestinian home they’ve stolen to attack the village with stones throughout the night. Finally the army arrived—to rough up the victims and accuse them of throwing stones. I had a little chat with the soldiers.

Here is Shaun Maguire's now-deleted live video, in which he claims there is "very strong evidence" that Mustapha Kharbouch, a Palestinian Brown student, "likely" committed the murders of two Brown students. He treats Brown removing pages about Kharbouch as evidence of guilt, completely lost on him that this was a response to doxxing like his. He also falsely claims the slain MIT professor was Jewish and frames the killings as part of a history of "pro-Palestinian terrorism" that he says is supported by Mamdani. He closes by warning viewers that they "haven't been fed the true story," and, sadly, the people that are hurt the most are the "normal" Palestinians. (Credit to Jacqueline Sweet for saving the video before he deleted it.)

Day after the attack: Peaceful olive farming across Turmus’ayya today. The Israeli army is going around to different fields asking farmers if they’re okay (lol). Normally I wouldn’t share a video like this, but idk… I feel like it’s a reminder that real boots on the ground reporting can have an impact?
