I stand with the Catholic Church.

No, because I’m not a liberal. I’m a Catholic who submits to the Vicar of Christ.

I don’t. And clearly, he is committing a crime against the faith (schism) and should be summoned to Rome to face the appropriate repercussions. If you don’t agree, I’m sad to say, choose any form of Protestantism you like and embrace it.

Who is committing the crime against the Faith? Strickland or Francis? I say it’s Francis. So does Strickland. We are in full agreement.

Doesn’t that statement excommunicate him from Rome?

No. You’re not in schism with Rome unless you deny the papacy of Francis (Sedevacantism) or incite hatred against the pope. Bishop Strickland has done neither. There is no canon law against criticizing the pope (even severely), so long that it is done with the intent of calling him to repentance. I agree with Bishop Strickland. The pope is not governing the Church in a Catholic way. He must repent.

No. I stand in communion with Rome.

I stand with the Church. So no.

I unequivocally stand with Bishop Strickland.

Sadly not as long as he places himself outside the Catholic Church. May God give him the grace he needs to become obedient to the geniune magisterium.
