Was assaulted today at Drive Test #Kitchener by a woman who kept spewing racist hate against "f$@king brown people" when asked to wait in line. When I told her this was not OK, she came up to my face to threaten me. That's when people (and I) started recording her. A thread...

@AcrossHerTable It is legal to record persons in a public space, you had every right to do so. She assaulted you and that is a crime under Canada's criminal code. Please report and charge her with assault.

@AcrossHerTable I commend you for standing up and saying something. One thing I hate most about racists is when they get violent when called out. I'm White and I call people out - they get angry but it's definitely different for POC when you do it. It's time for more Whites to stand up with you!
