I’m 60 years old. I’ve been documenting my journey pretty publicly for the past 7 years. I’ve been gaining strength (slowly) for the past 7 months. This morning I matched a lifetime rep PR on bench press. On May 5th I added a daily 800-calorie meal at ~10:30 am (during a time when I was previously fasting). Shockingly, I haven’t gained any weight. Is it possible that there’s more to improving body composition than simply “moving more & eating less”? PS: please use a spotter. I had someone close by, & I’m getting a new set of safety bars soon.
