I started using After Effects ~18 years ago. I started game dev. a couple of years after. Today, I release my first (+FREE) AE plugin: 🟠🟢🔵 Advanced Radial Blur 🔴 ^ Which combines a bit of both skills. 🙂 🔗

14 years. Fourteen years which started with a couple of school kids going out to paint anti-Assad graffiti, sparking a revolution. Fourteen years of protests and repression. Of war, destruction and mass murder by a desperate regime. 14 years, after which the tide has turned.

I started growing my grey in a couple of years ago. It gets mixed reactions. Lots of compliments but the occasional “you’d look younger if you coloured it”. Yeah I probably would. But I’m ok with that. 🩶🩶🩶

Today I suddenly found my walk animation from four years ago, when I first started in game animation, and compared it to one from eight months ago. Same action, same rig, sometimes it’s surprising how much time has passed. #zelda #animation #animation3d

2 Years of #MonsterHunterRise...? 2 Years of Wyvern Riding and Dive Bombing... Here's a reanimating of a video I made precisely 2 years ago, basically where it all started... What it feels like to Wyvern Ride into Battle...

I bought my first Constellation ship in Star Citizen 12 years ago… Way before I started Somnium Space. I could have never imagined that 12 years later I will be looking at my ship through the lens of my own PCVR headset - Somnium VR1 Life indeed is absolutely unpredictable ❤️

I have struggled to grow at the gym for years because of lower back problems. But after a year of consistency, today I benched 185 lb (84kg) for the first time in my life! 😭

So blessed I got to watch my son Tj Ford jr play his first college basketball game tonight Austin, Texas, the same place where I played my first college game. Both of our careers started here in a place I love with all my heart. Beyond proud of my boy, it’s up from here.

$[VFX Flame Arm BTS] Here is a quick breakdown of the VFX I made using After Effects! The main effects used are fractal noise, displacement map, vector blur, and my favorite DEEP GLOW!! I'll maybe write some (important?) notes below as well$

I think I’m done playing with videos!😂 First one is from years ago in Cancun. We both looked a lot different, I shave my head now. Wasn’t in a Speedo either. I made a couple others! Turned out pretty good! A follower gave the inspiration!

Underrated health hack: I recently started doing 10 minutes of mobility work every day. Wish I started years ago. Have noticed a dramatic improvement in how I feel and move. Got an app called Pliability that gives me a custom daily program. No affiliation, but it's great.

3 years ago this month, I sold my stuff to leave South Africa. I had bought my apartment the year before and only lived in it for a year. I sold my car on 6 July 2023 after 6 years of beautiful memories. I didn’t know my life would unfold so remarkably!
