Received few DMs and comments about the GMDC trade, but there was nothing special about it. It was a setup just like the ones I usually take. What I mainly tried to explain how understanding a stock’s characteristics plays a big role in trading. I used multiple examples to make this clearer. For those asking about the scanners I use, there’s no magic tool or secret scan behind it. The focus should be on understanding the setup and the behavior of stocks rather than relying on any single scanner. Watch the video and it should clear most of your doubts about the GMDC setup. This looks like an early VCR. It actually predates the VCR era most people remember. This is Sony’s U-matic was introduced in 1971, It was one of the biggest leaps in videotape technology at the time, replacing manually threaded open reel systems with a cassette that could automatically load and position the tape. The cassette carried three-quarter-inch magnetic tape, with up to about 60 minutes of colour video. Inside, the machine pulled the tape out of the cassette and wrapped it around a rotating video head drum, where the heads scanned the tape diagonally to record the television signal. And it costed about $1,395 in 1972, To get a sound sense of how expensive this was back in the day, In 1972, a new car averaged about $3,800, while the U-matic was $1,395 roughly 36% of the price of an entire new car. It was too large and expensive for mass home use, but the engineering behind it became the foundation for Sony’s Betamax in 1975, followed by VHS in 1976. When composing the music for Streets Of Rage, I wasn't deeply familiar with the Roland TR-808 or its successors, only their names. Yet, I recognized their iconic sounds from many Western hits. The SOR music was heavily influenced by these. I emulated these drum sounds using the YM2608/2612 FM sound chip, which is distinct from the analog oscillators/PCM in the drum machines. Listen to this video of the PC-8801FA playing "Stealthy Steps" from SOR. The solo 808-ish drum sound is featured at the beginning. It's remarkably close to what I recall from my composing days. #808day

FSD Beta 12: The One Where It Parks Itself After consistently having the car either park itself into a stall (if my destination was a parking lot) or pull to the curb out of the roadway (if the destination was on a street), I experienced this… Set the destination to a random alley in Downtown Sacramento. The car pulls into the alley, driving slow. Based on my previous experiences earlier in the drive it appears to be looking for a spot. Seems like it couldn’t find one it could fit into. Instead of stopping in the middle of the roadway (how v11 would have performed) the car rerouted itself around the block and back into the alley. When it gets back into the alley, it immediately parks into a parking stall instead of proceeding all the way to the destination. This is EXACTLY what I would have done if I was driving. After seeing there was no parking spots the first time, I would have driven around the block and parked in the first available spot I could find. Whether or not this is what actually happened is up for debate. But based on the previous 5 or so tests I performed before this, it really does seem like it was looking for a spot to park. I’ll post the video of the entire drive with the other parking examples later on today. Maybe Elon Musk can chime in as to what happened here?

New clip up! Another custom - in this one I got a new shrinking device, but I can't tell if it worked or not. As I walk around the apartment looking for things that have shrunk, my shrunk roommates end up being stepped on and getting stuck to the soles of my feet.
