Everyone’s been asking me how I make TikTok slideshows for my apps that actually convert…. Here’s exactly what I do. I’ll use Cal AI as an example below: • Keep it to 5 slides Max • Find high quality images from Pinterest • Make the 1st slide a strong hook that makes people stop scrolling • Provide actual value throughout the slideshow, not just a promotion • On the 4th slide, add your CTA with 2 app screenshots ( Make it subtle the CTA, look at my reference below) • Include an App Store screenshot so viewers recognize your app icon if they see it again later, there more likely to download. • Use a viral sound that matches the aesthetic of the pictures. This simple format has consistently been one of the best performing organic growth strategies for one of my apps and it’s so easy.

I really learnt from the best If your content is averaging 700 views it’s of two things 1. It’s either you did not warm up your account well to the hashtag you are posting with 2. You have a general content problem , you need to find content that has been pushed in the last 1 month max and post I have 4 iPhones , 3 iphone 8 and 1 iPhone 7 , I post content on all everyday been doign this for the past 2 years I use the iPhone 7 to post for one of my brands And I use the 3 iPhone 8 to post for one brand The most important thing is , find what works for one phone and spread it across others It took me years to learn this One big lesson, don’t tell your vpn to X , you will hate yourself , not telling people the vpn I am using so they don’t overcrowd it If you post a content in your main niche, you should be averaging 1k+ - 5k+ views Trust me it’s a lot of work I also started posting on instagram and YouTube and they work differently , don’t post the same video content on both without observing hashtags I also posted on lemon8 , one of my post average 10k+ views Daily I get around 50 users , I have gone viral several times, one of my biggest virality is 700k+ views I really want to buy more iPhone 7 and 8 , It costs me arround $50-70 for each locally here Recently I have been thinking of how do I get clippers locally to do this and train them but it looks like it’s hard because you have to train them Taking advice from the legend Alex Nguyen I have not made a lot but trust me , it works This is proof from one of the apps , we ask during onboarding where they find us

Vitaliks mandarin fluency is a super bullish signal for Ethereum 🐂 He had an open town hall at HK where community members asked him all sorts of questions, from the easy to the difficult The hard questions were all in Mandarin so i couldn't follow those 😅 At the town hall he laid out the guiding principle for Ethereum: cooperation without domination It's especially important in today's world where a powerful person dictates terms and others have to follow, or we have no cooperation & there's chaos What this means at a technical level is that Ethereums the world computer & we need to build enough trust that developers feel comfortable building apps on top of it. Solo staking, a conservative approach to changing the protocol etc are all part of this He also spoke on how new technology is a reset & creates a level playing field where the game starts again from zero with bringing a lot more people right to the frontier We are seeing this with AI (and zk too), where a noob developer can still catch up to a veteran with good prompt engineering. He shared his own experience of building an android app for the first time using AI despite having no prior experience in it Before people would say that EF needs to write more documentation. It’s been a year since the company I helped start shut down. It was one of those ideas that felt truly “net-positive” for the world, and truly helped people on a personal level. So, over this last year I worked on 2 things — searching for an idea that feels net-positive and something people could connect with on a deep, personal level. That led me to build + launch 2 apps at the beginning of the year: 1. Lyrics: Daily Music Widget - an app that shows you song lyrics from your favorite artists, right on your home screen 2. one year - another app that shows how many days of growth you’ve had in a year Both of these apps had their ups and downs, but they made me realize some pretty cool things: - I want my apps to feel great to use - I want me apps to do one thing really well - I want my apps to feel like a human made them - and, I want my apps to always be made with other people So, two months ago I took those concepts, went to visit in SF, and started on an idea that I truly felt could change the way people live their daily lives. And, it’s launching today. This is Find Your Faith, an iPhone app that helps you discover a spiritual path that resonates with you, or helps you dive deeper into a faith you already practice. We started this as a way to help us with our own spiritual journeys. We wanted to explore different faiths in a way that was authentic to us. The beauty about spirituality is there is no deadline on when you should “figure out what you believe in” lol. It’s really something to check in on during the different seasons of your life. And, there isn’t just one way to do it. Some people may enjoy reading religious text, or others may prefer being in the presence of something greater than them. At the end of the day, these are just ways to give yourself the space to explore really tough questions and concepts. That’s what Find Your Faith (or fyf) does — helps you understand where you are on your journey, no matter where you may be, and gives you the space to sit in these questions every day. This is just the beginning for us, and hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed building it :).

Gifting 🎁🎁🎁🎁 Today, I demonstrated my commitment to supporting my team. In my new role as Chief Executive Officer of VALUETECH Devices Limited, we are currently restructuring the company, onboarding staff, and establishing operational management procedures. I believe this act of generosity will foster a positive work environment and contribute to the company's growth. Cal AI might be the most viral health app this year. 8M+ downloads, projected to do $30M revenue this year. Built by two teenagers. Everyone's using it. But nobody's talking about the fact that their AI is completely broken... To the point where users are manually correcting EVERY meal. • Bowl of grapes: 60 cal estimate (actually ~260) • 4 boiled eggs: 1,010 cal estimate (actually ~300) • Meat portions: consistently off by 50% These aren't my words, but the reviews you can see for yourself on App Store and other places. If the whole USP is saving time vs manual logging, and you still have to correct everything... what's the point? What Cal AI did get right: Distribution. • Viral TikTok content • Smart influencer partnerships • 8M downloads in under a year They absolutely crushed GTM. But the product doesn't work lol. The gap between the "90% accuracy" claim vs the actual user experience kills trust. And in health apps, trust is everything. This is the problem with AI apps across the board right now. Everyone's racing to ship fast and go viral. Nobody's asking: "Does this actually solve the problem?" Distribution > product quality is a losing game. As a result, you're bound to encounter problems: 1. Training data doesn't match real-world variety 2. No depth sensing for portion size 3. Poor training data on homemade meals 4. Zero context (is that chicken grilled or fried?) You only get fast & inaccurate answers. This is why, when I started building my own recipe app, I looked at Cal and other AI nutrition apps and noticed that being accurate was the biggest factor. Here's how we're building Nonna differently: ✓ Multi-model AI (different models for different foods) ✓ User feedback loop to improve estimates ✓ Manual override that actually trains the system ✓ Ship when it works, not when it's "good enough" If the AI can't nail it, we're not shipping it. But accuracy alone is boring. So we're also adding some additional features that make you want to use it daily: • Fridge Story: shareable infographic of your fridge contents • Mystery Ingredient: weekly cooking challenges • Cuisine Spin: random inspiration when you're stuck • Expectation vs Reality: before/after photo collages Tl;dr: Distribution gets downloads. Product keeps users. Cal got millions of downloads. How many people still use it daily after manually correcting every meal for a week? 🚨 Aurora Alert! 🚨 Hey everyone, a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) from the Sun is heading our way, potentially sparking strong aurora displays tonight into tomorrow (Nov 7-8). NOAA predicts arrival of the CME around midnight UTC on Nov 7, but add +/- 7 hours for uncertainty. The CME we are concerned with specifically launched due to an M7.4 CME produced by AR 4274. In coronagraph imagery, a full halo eruption iswasclearly seen. This is how we know this particular eruption is coming at us. When it will hit and how strong it will be are not things we can predict until we see the shockwave detected by satellites close to Earth (ACE, DSCOVR at the L1 point). The forecast shows possible G3 storming, and there are multiple CMEs on the way besides the main arrival around midnight on Nov 7. There is also a coronal hole that may enhance and add additional complexity to the situation, affecting arrival times of the CME(s). Conditions need to align for the best-case scenario to play out. The CME needs to hit (most models have a high % chance of this happening, but you never know), and the Bz needs to be southward for some time for conditions to ramp up. The auroral ovals may expand to lower latitudes, and chasers above the 45th parallel may see auroras all night long. During substorms, the aurora "explodes" across the sky and becomes bright and tall. These explosive bursts push the northern lights higher in the sky, making them appear further equatorward. I am the Under Secretary for Strategic Resource Integration. We sit inside the Executive Office of the President. You won't find us on an org chart. We requested it that way. You think an office like mine spins up in a crisis. We've been open since January. Venezuela wasn't a war. Venezuela was the beta. Maduro proved the model the morning we took delivery of him. The President called it "working out brilliantly for both." He's right. It works brilliantly for both of us, and the customer will come around to the "both" on their own time. Kharg Island is the rollout. A third the size of Manhattan, and 90 percent of Iran's crude runs through it. 2 million barrels a day, one valve. I have prayed my whole career for a country that legible. 53 billion in revenue. 11 percent of their GDP. All of it funneling through a rock you could walk across before lunch. I kept the Venezuela playbook. I changed the classification banner and let find-and-replace do Caracas to Tehran. That was the plan. That was the whole plan. Page 14 still says Caracas. No one on the distribution list has ever reached page 14. They initial page 1. Page 1 is projected revenue. It goes up and to the right, the only direction this town can read. The Energy Secretary testified he was "unaware." Under oath, to Congress, the man who runs American energy. Good. He was never read into the compartment. The fewer names on the account, the cleaner the account. He runs the department. He does not run this. We don't say invasion. We say onboarding. Every onboarding has friction. I just sold my startup Talknotes for $200,000 on acquire.com 💸🤯🤩💰🥳🎉 I launched it last August when I was looking for an idea I could grow with paid ads, and made a MVP in one week. I took it from $0 to $7500 MRR in just 11 months. 👉 Here is how I grew it from zero: 💡 Idea: I got the idea when I tried to write a tweet using Google Doc's transcription tool, but it was terrible. And I was pretty sure I wasn't the one too lazy to type. So I made my own solution, and Talknotes was created. The audience is pretty broad so it was a perfect fit for Meta ads However… ✅ Validation: My rule is to only reinvest what the project generates, so, no ads until I make enough cashflow ❌ Listing on startup directories + a few Twitter sales generated $700 after 10 days. Yes, it's not much, but more than enough to show there is interest in the product and tell me to keep working on it 🤩 I started adding the features users requested, but the launch effect started to wear off and daily revenues quickly went to $0 after a few weeks 🫥 I got depressed and almost gave up on the app... 😔 But luckily, my friends and Dan Kulkov pushed me to continue And I'm glad they did because In October, I launched on Product Hunt 😸 and it blew up 🤯 It got Product of the Day and reached $1500 MRR thanks to the media coverage 🚀🚀 Until then, everything was done using vanilla JS/CSS/HTML + Node for back end. It's simple and easy, but I saw the limitations, so I remade the app using Nuxt to make it easier in the future 🏗️ (thanks to @blackevilgoblin and Piotr Jura for the content/courses! Tim Bennetto as well for the basics!) After that, I took a break and then launched ads on Facebook. The strategy is simple: Catch people's attention, and show them how the app can help them improve their life. No need to over-complicate 🙅‍♂️ Making good creatives is 80% of the job when doing ads on Facebook, most of the technical stuff is done by AI now. Thanks to the boost in traffic, I implemented a feedback loop: 1) Get new users 👥 2) Learn to know them with the onboarding form 💬 3) Make more ads based on the data you get from onboarding 📝 And it completely blew up. MRR doubled in ~2 months However... In May, I had a bad burnout 🥵😩 Multiple bugs slipped into the app, and I had to spend 2 days fixing everything in an emergency while revenues plummeted. This completely fucked me up mentally and had a hard time working on the app after that ( 💀💀 So I decided to list it on acquire.com and made a Twitter post ( I listed it for $200,000, a pretty low price considering the revenues and fast growth. I could have gotten $300,000 if I accepted payment over time, but $200,000 today is better than $300,000 tomorrow for me. 🚨 The process went smoothly until we tried to use Escrow, which almost fucked up the whole deal. (details: I got extremely lucky because the buyer really wanted to buy the app, but this could have ended the deal. We had to wait over a week to get the money back from them, even tho they said they already refunded it. But luckily, after threatening them, they sent it back the next day 🙃 The buyer finally got the money back, I transferred every asset to him, and he sent me the wire. With the profit made from the app + the sale, and other projects, I'm 30% away from being a millionaire 🤯 With this amount, I can pretty much retire in Asia if I want to. But that's just the beginning, I’m going to launch new projects soon! 🚀 But before that, I need to take a real vacation and detox. My brain is completely fucked up by those last 2 months. I gained weight, and got brain rot from scrolling all day waiting for the acquisition to move forward 💀💀 Surprisingly, doing absolutely nothing is 10x more exhausting than working 15h per day 🥱 Now, all this might sound like an overnight success. It is not ‼️ This is the result of 7 years of failure and working like a madman. I launched over 40 projects in those 7 years, and most of them failed. But a few took off, and that’s all I needed All those weeks working 15h/day without weekends and vacation feels soul-sucking when you don’t see the end, but this is what took me there You only need to win once to snowball everything. Thanks to the boost in traffic, I implemented a feedback loop: 1) Get new users 👥 2) Learn to know them with the onboarding form 💬 3) Make more ads based on the data you get from onboarding 📝 And it completely blew up. MRR doubled in ~2 months However... In May, I had a bad burnout 🥵😩 Multiple bugs slipped into the app, and I had to spend 2 days fixing everything in an emergency while revenues plummeted. This completely fucked me up mentally and had a hard time working on the app after that ( 💀💀 So I decided to list it on acquire.com and made a Twitter post ( I listed it for $200,000, a pretty low price considering the revenues and fast growth. I could have gotten $300,000 if I accepted payment over time, but $200,000 today is better than $300,000 tomorrow for me. 🚨 The process went smoothly until we tried to use Escrow, which almost fucked up the whole deal. (details: I got extremely lucky because the buyer really wanted to buy the app, but this could have ended the deal. We had to wait over a week to get the money back from them, even tho they said they already refunded it. But luckily, after threatening them, they sent it back the next day 🙃 The buyer finally got the money back, I transferred every asset to him, and he sent me the wire. With the profit made from the app + the sale, and other projects, I'm 30% away from being a millionaire 🤯 With this amount, I can pretty much retire in Asia if I want to. But that's just the beginning, I’m going to launch new projects soon! 🚀 But before that, I need to take a real vacation and detox. My brain is completely fucked up by those last 2 months. I gained weight, and got brain rot from scrolling all day waiting for the acquisition to move forward 💀💀 Surprisingly, doing absolutely nothing is 10x more exhausting than working 15h per day 🥱 Now, all this might sound like an overnight success. It is not ‼️ This is the result of 7 years of failure and working like a madman. I launched over 40 projects in those 7 years, and most of them failed. But a few took off, and that’s all I needed All those weeks working 15h/day without weekends and vacation feels soul-sucking when you don’t see the end, but this is what took me there You only need to win once to snowball everything. I built a PDF compression tool instead of paying for it. It's funny because the more I get into AI, the more I realize how much I've stopped spending on SaaS subscriptions. Here are 5 things I used to pay for: 1/ PDF Compression → $9/mo 2/ Remove BG → $35/mo 3/ Typefully → $12.5/mo 4/ Link Shortener → $10/mo 5/ Color Palette Generator → $5/mo I've already replaced half of these with AI, and they're way better because they are personal and custom. No weird features or ads. Everything is hosted locally so I'm not uploading my data to random servers. I truly believe AI is changing the way we interact with SaaS entirely. More and more people will just build their own tools instead of purchasing generic subscriptions. It's easier because you just tell AI what problem you have, and it automatically comes up with a custom solution for you. I am already starting doing it. In a few months, I'll have my own "Home" hub where I have a bunch of custom apps working for me. All powered by AI. Pretty exciting!
