I support negotiations, but we should not act like referees between two equal sides. Ukraine is a democracy under attack. Russia is the aggressor, bombing cities, killing POWs, and kidnapping children. There is a right and wrong here, and we should be clear about it.

Russia invading Ukraine, bombing cities every night. America should be unashamedly on the right side — the side of democracy, the side of Ukraine, country that wants to align with us. Russia hates us. Putin hates United States, hates what we stand for. I don’t know why President Trump can’t see that. I’ve waited year and a half in this Congress to get something done on Ukraine, and we’ve done nothing. There have been no votes, no policies from the leadership here or from President to support a country that is fighting for its life. I agree that Ukraine has the upper hand right now, but Russia is bombing those cities every night, and we should be there to help them defend against these ballistic missile attacks. Actions speak louder than words.

Vance is bragging about being close to peace between Ukraine and Russia. "The fact that they’re sitting down and talking is progress, and I think we’ve made a lot of progress here." This is completely false. Empty talks without proper pressure on the aggressor get us nowhere. Sanctions must be tightened, the shadow fleet must be stopped, and Ukraine must be armed. "We want commerce between those two countries" — this is just ridiculous. We are being attacked by Russia every day; enriching them is.... not in our best interests.

The moment the ATACMS is used, Russia will respond, and the response will be catastrophic for Ukraine and devastating for NATO and the United States. When I say catastrophic, Kiev will be destroyed. It will be a gigantic thermobaric bomb that will level downtown Kiev, killing everybody there. Russia will take Kiev off the map.
