@JessieJaneDuff The face of the GWOT veteran in a few decades. Itโs a hard pill to swallow.

@JessieJaneDuff Exactly.

The pain is real for this generation for what they have done just to see our country go the way it has. In a way I am glad most are no longer here to see the decline of what they fought so hard and long for.โ๏ธ๐๐บ๐ธ๐ซก

After watching some of the September 11th events yesterday our generation is not far behind.

Very true.. How the heart bleeds..โ๏ธ๐๐บ๐ธ๐ซก

Truly sad that men like him are witness to the shit we're seeing today. Earlier, I saw a repost where some fool claims the airplanes striking the WTC videos are AI because "they didn't have portable cameras like that then". I'm 2h53m into the the C-SPAN coverage of yesterday's reading and memorial. Recalling back to around 2010 or so, I remarked how it took America about 50 years to forget Pearl Harbor...it took less than 5 for most to forget 9/11. As soon as the flags and stickers fell off the cars, or the one by the front door faded - that was it. Now, we have a laughing terrorist running the city and mocking the very people everyone gathered to memorialize yesterday. I saw that at the 2:05:42 mark in the coverage.

Itโs 60+years of taking for granted what was provided to us by our forefathers. Deferred maintenance on our culture that has finally caught up to us.

Amen.

I wish they would have squared away his uniform before he did this. I guess I got OCD when it comes to wearing the uniform. He deserves to be dressed correctly. This stuff drives me nuts, like the Netflix show "Homeland" where they can't seem to dress the main character correctly. First he wears Gunny-stripes but refers to him throughout the show as a Sgt. Then he has 4 hash marks, then 2, then none. And his long sleeve blouse has Sgt on it? Damn my OCD is in overdrive

Yeah it is. Iโm just happy he fits in it and still wears it.

Perfect.

It's a cyclic pattern of political instability and institutional stress; label is "pendular equilibrium", cyclical crisis rather than permanent collapse. The US swings between democracy and autocracy with each major era ending in a crisis that forces realignment. Dont get bummed.

Well said.

Yeah, they made the mIsTake o' ejicatng me.

Semper fii, sir!

Semper Fi

Heartbreaking. He sums it up for many of us.

Yes

It's disgusting that it seems more and more that instead of defending our people and our country, we were creating an economy for others.

Sir, this country was founded on violence, defended by violence, reunited once by violence, it will end or end and re-begin again by violence. I can feel it. I feel the same as the sergeant. I was born five years after the war, and at five years old was still seeing its consequences around me. My father was getting his last hip surgery from wounds received in 1945 liberating Dachau prison camp. He and five others zig zagged two mg42โs with SS crews. Three kept fire on the crews while three reloaded. My dad carried a BAR since 1942. It did the real damage. All were wounded. My dad the worse. In that VA hospital were burn survivors from Pearl Harbor. Still not healing and sick. Some were burned and shot, having been strafed repeatedly in burning water. Also, two 80 pound scarecrows from Wake. Nearly starved to death and beaten daily, they just couldnโt come back. Their liver functions just barely there. In that VA hospital since 1947. Quite a sight for a five year old. Believe me when I tell you they are the last thing in my minds eye when I go to sleep, to this very day. Every night. As far as Iโm concerned, the Japanese and Germans both wrote checks they can never cash, anywhere, anytime.

Me too Sir-me too.

I fought to understand/change things - until I returned to the Catholic Church and began studying civilization from a biblical perspective. This is nothing new - except for indoor plumbing, electricity & internet. There is no political solution for a spiritual problem.

I donโt really feel bad for this guy. His generation blindly killed their brothers in the war asking no questions. They also raised the worst generation of people in the modern world who sold out the country to jews

Just make it make sense. He is so right. Our fathers, brothers, husbands and mothers, sister didn't go into battle to protect our Country, for this crap. What happened, were did it go wrong. I would to say it all began with the Kennedy's assassination.

Yes, Sir. I understand why a lot of us think about it.๐ซก

Me too!

Fight

Fight, fight, fight!

Yes Sir!

Yes sir!!

The fight isn't over until all the patriots lay cold, and I haven't died quite yet. Never lose your smile. ๐ป

Well maybe it would have turned out better if we had won whatever war he fought in

I donโt like to think about it ๐ข๐ญ

The Sergeant is 100% correct

Semper Fi

ME TOO.

Heโs right, we need to get the swamp and elites out of our government and stop the lies of the globalist that are pushing their own agenda.

Broke my heart the 1st time I saw that.

๐คฌ๐คฌ๐คฌ if his words don't make you pissed off, you're garbage.

True! People are not Christian people are not going to church being a community. Evil is creeping in with trans, drugs and sick culture

A lot of us do. The last of them will see the turnaround.
