"I think it's a good decision!" Ben Shapiro defends Robert Kraft canceling Macklemore for criticizing Israel, saying his only concern is the "Streisand effect." "Kraft was right!" host Bill Hemmer insists (after positively highlighting Kraft's spy network in Gillette Stadium).

Translation: Canceling people to advance our ethnic interests is great—the only issue is the backlash we may receive!

Kraft has demonstrated exactly how in control the Zionists / Israel lobby are of every American’s daily life. Claiming it’s an anti-Jewish trope is just a bad faith cover for an inignorable malicious agenda.

@FoxNews saying the sex predator Robert Kraft of the @Patriots is a good man is hilarious. He paid Asians for sex then bought his way out of a criminal charge. @NFL shame on the nfl.

Foxnews and “rightwing” Jews like Shapiro, spent years criticizing cancel culture. However they cheer it against anyone criticizing Israel.

These idiots are trying to control free speech which if it were up to Trump would have been long gone! Money buys silence as well as a warped sense of what is right and wrong with this country. Thank you Mr. Trump for dividing the US and the whole world for that matter!

Remember when the left said this about the “private” social media platforms censoring the right wing? Suddenly the “right wing” is opposed to free speech

I agree with Dave. The frame that most of the media has run with here is absurd. Macklemore is not some brave dissident being silenced for uttering the words “Free Palestine.” Drake just put out a song in which he included a line saying "Pray for Gaza" and no one is going to be banning him from stadiums. Macklemore is a washed-up, increasingly irrelevant (aside from doing shit like this to stay in the news) rapper who used his opening slot for one of the world’s most beloved musicians to subject a captive audience to an anti-Western political grievance rally. The objection is not simply that he expressed sympathy for Palestinians or wrongly accused Israel of genocide. He performed “Hind’s Hall,” his anthem celebrating the lawless activists who vandalized and occupied Hamilton Hall at Columbia—trapping and harassing a janitor inside—and used the stage to praise radical organizations including Columbia University Apartheid Divest, a group that explicitly endorsed the murder of Americans in the October 7th massacre and has called for “unrest and violence in America” in service of efforts to “undermine and eradicate America.” This is also a man who previously appeared onstage dressed as a hooked-nose Jewish caricature and has suggested George W. Bush carried out the 9/11 attacks. He is not merely “pro-Palestinian.” He is a conspiratorial provocateur who generates attention by turning concerts into political spectacles and alienating large portions of the far more famous and talented Ed Sheeran’s audience. Robert Kraft owns Gillette Stadium. He is entitled to decide that it will not provide a platform for someone with that record. More broadly, it is encouraging to see prominent American Jews finally show some spine: defending themselves aggressively, punching back, and refusing to recede into the background while Islamist sympathizers dishonestly recast themselves as victims. I’m glad to see Macklemore face some actual consequences for being a dirtbag beyond merely having to take a field trip to the local Holocaust museum. There is a legitimate question of strategy—not whether Kraft had the right to bar Macklemore, but whether doing so was wise. Before Kraft’s intervention, Macklemore was a washed-up rapper desperately grasping for relevance. Now he is a martyr, other artists have quit Sheeran’s tour in solidarity, and his defenders can portray him as the victim of a powerful billionaire class determined to silence pro-Palestinian speech. You cannot cancel people into liking you, and Jewish organizations have only so much institutional capital to expend. Wasting it on Macklemore risks making him more prominent, reinforcing his preferred narrative, and associating Jews with the cancellation of musicians while accomplishing nothing meaningful against antisemitism. Kraft could instead have let him perform—and let Americans boo him, reject him, and defeat his arguments in a free and open society. But that strategic miscalculation does not transform Macklemore into the persecuted party or make the objections to his conduct any less legitimate. Ultimately, though, I'm with Dave and Bob Kraft on this one.

Robert Kraft should cancel Ed Sheeran’s Gillette Stadium dates on September 25 and 26, and replace it with a NOVA Fundraiser featuring: Noa Kirel David Draiman 🟦🇺🇸🇮🇱✡️☮️ Dana International Omer Adam Static and Ben El Offer Nissim Stephane Legar Eden Golan Yuval Raphael Noam Bettan Alon Ohel John Ondrasik Because Macklemore—a bigoted clown who has dressed in despicable Jew Face—glorified October 7th with his anthem “Hind’s Hall” as part of his opener for Ed Sheeran, replete with “Free Palestine” chants. Look at his own lyrics, where he explicitly excuses atrocities under the banner of historical struggle, rapping: 🎶“Who gets the right to defend and who gets the right of resistance / Has always been about dollars and the color of your pigment..." 🎶 He then attempts to rationalize modern terrorism by declaring, 🎶 “History been repeating for the last seventy-five / The Nakba never ended, the colonizer lied."🎶 But that is NOT what the Nakba meant. When Syrian intellectual Constantin Zureiq coined the term in 1948, he pleaded for the Arab world to engage in deep introspection so as to not make the same catastrophic future mistakes. It’s actually people like Macklemore who get more Palestinians killed, but don’t let his virtue signaling run up against facts. By completely ejecting Zureiq's original framing, Macklemore weaponizes the term, refuses the self-reflection Zureiq begged for, and actively perpetuates ongoing violence. And yet he’s scheduled to perform at the exact location of the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate. If the organization stands against hate, it must stand against Macklemore (and Ed Sheeran). It’s a simple scenario with only one right conclusion: ban Macklemore from Gillette and cancel the Ed Sheeran shows if he refuses to drop him. Not only is this the right thing to do, it’s the Jewish thing to do.
