I might catch heat for this but I actually like Cindy Robinson as Amy post Sonic Lost World where she dropped the Minnie Mouse thing. I do think she was the best in Sonic Boom and I'd like some of that kind of attitude back.

Sonic Underground is obviously a bad show, but Jaleel White’s performance as Sonic was kinda perfect. He’d really aged into the role at that point. Lowkey the best voice for classic Sonic.

Sonic calling Shadow a faker is not regressing their relationship or out of character. In SA2 it was out of frustration over what Shadow unintentionally did to him. Nowadays its just friendly rival banter like a nickname his gives Knuckles or Eggman Trust me. Sonic has said worse stuff to Shadow

I genuinely think Silver needs to get his edge back. A lot of fans misunderstand his character, and I honestly believe that comes from the western writing of Sonic 06 - especially the voice direction. In the English version, Silver’s tone made him sound more awkward or “nerdy,” which wasn’t really the intention of his character. If you listen to the Japanese version, the difference is huge. He sounds deeper, more serious, more determined - like someone who’s actually carrying the weight of a ruined future on his shoulders. That shift in delivery completely changes how you perceive him. It’s frustrating how not just Sonic 06, but so many franchises in general, end up feeling watered down in western adaptations because of how they change the plot significantly. Silver was meant to be intense and driven, not misunderstood as soft or clueless. I really hope he eventually gets the characterization he deserves - the strong, focused, future-warrior energy that made him compelling in the first place. He literally did not hesitate and the poor guy was all alone.

Here he is before his FFS. The surgery definitively changed his nose compared to how it looks here, but he really doesn’t now look much different. Not more feminine. And of course, he’s still a man.
