I think the Apostles understand prayer on a different level and in this video are putting forth a lot of effort in teaching how prayer can and should be. Something you prepare for and put lots of thought into.

De’Anthony Melton says he wants to be rewarded for his hardwork this offseason: “I mean I’ve been in this league a decent amount of time now. So 8 years is a lot of time. I’ve put in a lot of time and effort and work into this, you know what I mean? So I think that should be rewarded and I think, for anybody, you put in that much time, effort, work and you know you’ve seen the results and you’ve seen how much impactful you are and what you have done, like I said, you want to be rewarded for that. So, whatever comes with it, comes with it, but end of the day you want to get rewarded for your services.” (via 95.7 The Game)

Every pastor affirms the importance of prayer and likely excels at it publicly, but consistency in private prayer is hard. And it isn't easy to foster a congregation-wide culture of prayer. In this episode of The Everyday Pastor, Matt Smethurst and Ligon Duncan discuss practical tips for improving your prayer life—and the praying habits of your whole congregation. After all, a church that will be found faithful is a church that will be found praying. 📝ON THIS VIDEO: 00:00 The role of prayer in pastoral ministry 10:38 Examples of effective prayer practices 16:38 The impact of Scripture on prayer 21:36 The role of pastoral prayer in worship services 27:32 Encouraging a culture of prayer in the church

Look at the state of Somali sheikhs. How can a sunnah prayer stand in place for a fardh prayer ie jumuah or Dhuhur prayer. These extremists misleading the community should be stopped. Diabolical.

Spend a few moments in prayer today over the month of August. What could God be preparing you for this month? How can you find rest in Him? Save this prayer so you can revisit anytime!

If you believe in the power of prayer, please take a moment and watch this. This man's nephew Caden is 10 years old and he is in the hospital in Houston Texas battling Leukemia. Caden is having a really hard time lately with the Chemotherapy. Please take a moment and say a prayer for Caden and his family and pass this on so others can say a prayer too.

THE PLACE OF PRAYER IS THE PLACE OF POWER AND AUTHORITY! 🔥 (Fire versus fever) 🤔 😂 Beloved, prayer is not merely a spiritual routine; it is where strength is generated, battles are won, and authority is exercised. When you understand the place of prayer, you will never be helpless in the face of the enemy. Stay awake in the spirit. Stay fervent in prayer. Stay conscious of the authority God has given you.🔥👏

Before my accident I always enjoyed pushing myself physically, and this is exactly the same challenge, just on a fundamentally different level. It’s tough and exhausting both physically and mentally but when you put in the effort all that pain turns into something positive.

Hey there, folks. About to go for a run here in Connecticut, and I realized today is the National Day of Prayer. I just want to say how glorious it is that we live in a country with a National Day of Prayer. It’s on our coins: “In God We Trust.” We have to understand that faith in the God of the Bible is central to who we are as a nation. It always has been. I write about that in the book Revolution. Next weekend, on May 17th, we are publicly rededicating the nation to God. I’ll be there, and I hope you will too. On this National Day of Prayer, take a moment to thank God that we live in a nation that acknowledges Him in this way. God bless you, and God bless America.

On this National Day of Prayer, we are reminded of how blessed we are to live in a country where we can worship freely without fear of persecution. Today reminds us that prayer is powerful, and so is a country that honors it!

Prepare for your hearts to melt with the next installment of Tim and Tom special foster progress with Irlam manager Dawn. Please tell us in the comments if you are finding these videos interesting... You might think you need lots of experience to bring dogs on like this, but it is just time and patience and not pushing to hard or too fast. We can provide lots of support and if you have a dog in the home they will do a lot of the teaching for you. We need more child-free special fosters in Greater Manchester and surrounding areas who are willing to commit to at least two weeks. Please fill in the foster form in the comments and Amy will be in touch.

I spoke with Ainsley Earhardt this morning on FOX & Friends about the national call to prayer for our country today at noon, wherever you are. She asked how I would answer those who say that prayer does nothing. I told her I believe in the power of prayer. God is watching, and God is listening. I believe He can change the course and direction of people’s hearts.
