I think the funniest part about Republicans not understanding basic history is watching the U.S. military sing “One Day More” from Les Mis, at the 2025 Governors Ball… Les Mis is about the French Revolution, where the people rose up against King Louis XVI's absolute monarchy.😹

My most used gif since November… so I’m glad the military is on the same page as me…

The fact you have no idea what is going on is great.

Les Misérables is fiction. "One Day More" wasn’t sung during the actual June Rebellion of 1832—or any real revolution—because it’s a song written for the Les Misérables musical, which debuted in 1980. 😀

You are so dumb to not consider them singing it in reference to overthrowing the globalists and military industrial complex?

You're--understandably--mistaken: Les Mis is about the "June Rebellion" of 1832 and was more of an effort at Bourbon restoration; the French Revolution was 16 years later.

Yeah I haven’t seen Les Mis in a hot second so I misspoke on which revolution/rebellion it was. Same point, though.
