I think the #NFL should not only eject players that commit egregious violent penalties, but they should strongly consider suspending them for the same length of time the injured player misses Especially those with with historical patterns of behavior

@neilreynoldsnfl Ejections should automatically carry suspensions - just like red cards do in soccer

Absolutely brutal and so hard to watch. Just downright wrong.

Lifetime ban. Assault charges. Governor De Santis don’t let this POS leave the state.

This on the NFL. You handicap defenders when QBs run. Get rid of the slide rule for QBs if QBs run they are treated the same as a RB. If you want your QB safe instruct them to not run the ball. This is football. we might as well put flags on QB for defenders to pull.

@Supershocked1 I'm sorry. The slide rule needs to go away. If they can run for positive yardage, they can yak a hit lime a runner. Otherwise, it's like 2 hand touch.

My thought is to immediately suspend the player for at least 2 games. If the player is a habitual dirty player, suspend him for at least 4 games. Prayers & full healing for Trevor. 🙏

Get rid of the slide rule or prohibit Qb's from running across the line of scrimmage. You can't handicap the defense like this.

This player should not be allowed back on the field of any game. Cheap, late and dirty. NFL can show it is serious about player safety by keeping this hitman off the field. @NFL

Well when it comes to head injuries caused by egregious hits some players don’t even miss a week. 😬 Concerning this hit, qbs need to slide well before contact. They must forgo forward progress to receive protection. It’s egregious to penalize defenders when runners declare late

Just shut him down for the season that’s truly brutal and sickening and he knows he can’t do that. Could of broken Lawrence’s neck
