@MarinSanna I would trust Ms. Sanna to deal with Putin more than Trump. She has ethics and standards on these matters. Trump is thinking like a businessman wanting to make a profit, regardless of ethics.

@MarinSanna The Rich Europeans should take out loans and give Ukraine the money so they can purchase, cash upfront, the aid and weapons they need How can the Rich Europeans just sit there and watch Ukraine get destroyed without giving Ukraine all the Money they need?

You get Zelenskyy to give Putin something, Putin gets good deal, gets sanctions lifted, they all go off and make money, and everybody's happy. Trump thought that would be simple. It turns out not to be the case. Putin would not accept any deal because he wants all of Ukraine. Zelenskyy is not going to give away Ukrainian people and Ukrainian territory. Trump said at the time, you know, to Zelenskyy, "You don't have any cards." He was wrong. Zelenskyy has a lot of cards. I think Trump now realizes that. He sees that Zelenskyy actually has some cards and is able to use them well, and is maybe winning here. Putin, on the other hand, is gradually losing.

During the interview with NBC, Zelensky pleaded that the U.S. government "give us some financial support" without mentioning the billions already sent to Ukraine. Zelensky also begged for a line of credit if Congress is unwilling to send direct financial aid. The Ukrainian leader said they can at least "buy some ammunition" and made a promise to "give back" the U.S. money after the war, whenever that actually ends. "Please give us a credit and we will give you back money after the war and the force, we can buy some ammunition." During the same interview, Zelensky invited Donald Trump to come visit Ukraine after the former president said he could "end the war in 24 hours." Instead, you have to change his capabilities. Can a real peace deal be made between Russian and Ukraine? Yesterday CNN asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about Trump’s “plan” to make a fair deal between Putin and Ukraine. Zelensky had quite the interesting response, saying: “We’re not ready [to give up territory to Russia]. But the question for Trump – or to someone else, maybe it’s not his idea – is ‘is the United States ready to give up territory after Putin has said he would use nuclear weapons?'" Zelensky then said, “After we negotiate with Putin, he will then give us his new list of ‘wishes." Does anyone really believe that 1) Putin would make a deal without getting some of Ukraine's land and 2) that he would actually hold up his end of the deal? Putin has shown over and over again that he only makes deals to get things, and as soon as he secures those things, he moves on to trying to get more.
