I was asked my CURRENT thoughts on Justin Fields vs Caleb Williams here they are. “I believe you can change your team more by trading the number one pick”. Gimme your thoughts Chicago! #DaBears #Bears #ChicagoBears

@TheRally @BallySportsMW A good QB changes the team more than anything, look at Stroud

@TheRally @BallySportsMW I think you run the very real risk of becoming the Cleveland Browns if you pass on the chance to draft a far more talented (as a passer) QB than you currently have.

9 out of 11 top passing teams made the playoffs. justin is the worst passing QB in the NFL. do what you will with those 2 facts. if you think justin can go from the WORST passing attack to a top 10 passing attack by "trading down for a haul" then do it. however, i think even you know that a player who gets WORSE the more he passes it is never gonna be a top 10 passing QB.

@TheRally @BallySportsMW its trivial to upgrade your team. its very hard to upgrade your QB. take the QB. not the haul. you are trading long term upside for short term gains.

@TheRally @BallySportsMW Absolutely nothing changes your team more than finding an elite franchise QB. Nothing else even comes close

@TheRally @BallySportsMW FINALLY, someone spells out the financial gains of trading the pick. The “you gotta pay Justin big money” is irrelevant when you got 3 other top guys on rookie deals! #Bears

@TheRally @BallySportsMW Absolute crime to trade this pick that was gifted to you. Trading Fields and your own 1.09 pick would yield more than enough. On top of the talent gap, you won’t be able to keep Fields and Jaylon.

@TheRally @BallySportsMW Winners see the good in what they have and build upon it while losers look at all the winners with envy and try to mimic their success (often failing to do so). Keep Fields and build.

@TheRally @BallySportsMW @clayharbs82 People love getting a hard on for taking hyped up QBs #1 overall during draft season Only one qb in the last 26 years that was drafted by a team #1 overall won a superbowl for the franchise that drafted them and it took him 9 years to do that. That was Payton manning
