FROM INBOX | This morning at 7:15, I was a$$aulted by a City of Harare traffic officer. The incident began around 7:05 when two officers approached me as I was parking in a bay. They claimed that one of my car tyres had stepped on a white line. When I asked for a moment to park properly, one officer jumped into the back of my car, while the other clamped it and then also got into the vehicle. They demanded that I drive to their Coventry Road office but then began pressuring me for money, implying that if I didn't give them something, I would be charged $98 once they took the car in. I explained that I didn't have any money, but they continued to threa+en me. I started recording the conversation on my phone, took out $20, and as they were stepping out, I told them I had recorded everything. One officer immediately rushed off, and the other followed. When I demanded my money back, one of them attempted to flee and then śtruck me on the chin with a baton stick and a clenched fist before running away. I sustained a cut on my chin and it’s swollen. I have reported the incident to the police.

I ended up playing the claw machine, and somehow someway I won, I had the Spurs teddy bear. I felt the best in the car this weekend and I really feel like this small tweak we made into qualifying was just right and we're making tweaks as we're going through this session just with wing and Q3 run one felt good and I did a really good prep laps and then when I started my lap my SM wasn't on and I was down already like a tenth and a half or two tenths into turn one so that and then I had turn seven because I was trying to floor it back so you know but it's nice I think we probably could have fought for third I think that was the case yesterday as well but it means like a perfect lap out of our car and um but the good thing is that we're kind of we are improving and I really hope that I can take this sort of performance home for the season." Mental Health tip for today… “Throw a party in your heart!!!” One of the best things about opening up fully about my mental health battles has been the learning journey I’ve since gone on. Now, as a result, I have new tools to fight my depression and anxiety, new rituals to navigate through that gray I live in. This is pretty cool and I learned it from a monk in Thailand (literally) and I now use it every night of my life to change what nights look like for me. I used to go to sleep absolutely dreading those first 15 minutes I laid my head on my pillow because I didn’t know how to like or love myself and I was laying there with someone I felt didn’t deserve to be liked or loved. Now, I use this tip to end my night on a MUCHHHH better plane and as a result start my day a little better. Give it a listen and if it resonates with you give it a try.
