🚨| Lewis Hamilton's post-race interview. "I mean, I don't count on myself unlucky. I think about, I think about my mistake that I made yesterday, so I take full responsibility really for the fourth place I ended up getting because I damaged the car, then when they rebuilt the car they missed something on the suspension, so the balance was completely different, so that meant I was probably a good couple tenths, maybe three tenths slower than I should have been in qualifying, and then I ended up further back, got in the incident, five second penalty, so just like a domino effect from I think a decision mistake from myself, so, but the team have been doing a great job with strategy, pit stops, we are continuing to improve the car, I think our pace today without the damage, I think we could have been challenging for the win." Q: Yeah, we're waiting on the obviously the release, and you were looking for a front wing change, and I think he's fine, and you were immediately concerned for him, but you're worried you might pick up a penalty for that. "I mean, I don't know what, I mean I didn't do, I did what the green light went, and so I went, you're looking over here, you're not looking over there, so that's more kind of probably on the team ultimately, but I'm just, when it happened, then I noticed him and I stopped, and I might just, what went through my mind in that moment was back when Kimi hit and broke a leg, and my heart really sank for a second, but I'm really grateful he's okay." Q: Just to look on the positive, you go to Hungary, it's a great track for you, you know, you're second in the Championship again, it looks like that will be the case, there's an engine upgrade coming, are you very hopeful that the season can gather momentum for you? "I think so, I think we've, this weekend, a bit unfortunate, and then Silverstone again, I think it's really great to see the performance that we're bringing, and we're improving the car constantly, I think we've got more stuff coming in the pipeline to try and close that gap down, but to be here and have the pace generally that we did as a team is really encouraging, and I think yeah, I think there's still a long way to go, I can't afford weekends like this in the sense of my performance yesterday, so I'm going to step it up in terms of focus level for next week." Sir Lewis Hamilton reflecting on the break after Singapore, and speaking on his experience with horses throughout his life: "Good afternoon, everyone. I was at the factory, and then headed out here. Had some work in LA, and then I came here. But yesterday, I rode a horse for the first time. So it was an unbelievable experience." "But when I was younger, there used to be a horse that was in a field nearby, just a shy horse. And it was this beautiful horse. It was just on its own every day. So I'd go and stop, and it would come over to me, and I'd spend time [with it]. And then when I'd start walking home, I'd start to notice my allergies started kicking off. And then my breathing, I'd struggle to breathe. And I'd really, really struggle. And I didn't know that I had asthma." "Then I was, I happened to be around another horse another time, and I had an asthma attack. And it was a really scary experience, because I didn't have an inhaler or anything. So anyways, I stayed away from horses since that day. That was when I was probably like 14 or something. And I went through this desensitization program, because my allergies were crazy, particularly for hay fever in the UK. And I didn't think anything of it. I hadn't thought about it. And I did a shoot at the beginning of this year with a horse for the Time 100 magazine. And I took medication, antihistamine. But I was able to be around this horse, no problems. So yesterday, I did a shoot with a horse for Plus 44. And I was like, can I ride it? And I got on. And it was just, wow. It was an amazing experience." "The horse started moving. And it started to gallop. And I didn't know what to do in that moment. So I panicked a little bit. But it was beautiful. So I'm really, really excited about this next phase of my life, where I'm going to be around horses more and really get into riding." - F1 2025 USGP -

🎥| “I'm not going to lie, I'm... I'm through the hardest part now, because fucking hell, I was a bag of nerves, honestly. We're here now, we're here now, right. Right, I've got a few things I want to say, maybe I'll sit down, feels like one of them chats, don't it? Obviously, on a day like today, you know, I... I've been reflecting, I've been thinking about my whole career. This is an important night for me, it's an important night for us as a collective, you know. I can remember distinctly, the year before I got put in the band, I actually also auditioned on The X Factor, right, and I remember distinctly... I was 17, I remember distinctly coming back and I... I got a 'no', I wasn't going to get through, and I remember being in the car with my mom, we stopped off, grabbed a Subway, that was lovely, and I'm just bawling my eyes out, being like, 'I fucking really want this, I really, really want this.' And you know, at that age, it's... it's kind of difficult to deal with that kind of shit, definitely. So, but... but luckily, you know, I had a... a good, good support and good advice around me, and I... and I went again, and then luckily, I got put in the band. And I fucking cherished every single year we had in the band, that was incredible. And you know, then there was a time where that wasn't a thing anymore, whatever we called it, fucking hiatus, or whatever. And... so I was kind of at that same place again, I was like, 'I really fucking want this, I don't want to let this go, you know, I fucking love doing what I do.' But I couldn't, I couldn't really, maybe to my own detriment, I couldn't really see the finish line like that, or even see the light at the end of the tunnel like that, I was... I was kind of worried, I was kind of worried that that might be the end for me. And I want you guys to know, you know, I say a version of this every night, this is a longer form of it, but... I simply would not have the fucking confidence to get up and play a place like Madison Square Garden. But I feel really, really, really fucking proud of what we've created, and tonight is just... is the ultimate idea. So, I... I never really feel like I can quite articulate just how much you've done for me. But honestly... tonight is one of those moments, I want everyone to leave here tonight, right, if you've seen my first tour... I want everyone to leave here tonight to... to take that, you know. You... you're responsible. I guess I played a part too, we did it together, we did it together, right. And... yeah, forever grateful for nights like tonight, it's... it's really, really special, so thank you so much. But anyway, to top things off, I did want to say, 'Side by Side' is for you. Like, I wrote that song... I actually wanted to say this before the song, but I crept up on my own emotional, not gonna lie. Um, but uh, that song's for you, listen to the words, feel it. I fucking love you, we've been doing it for a long time now, some of us, so thank you for everything, thank you for all of the passion you guys give me, I fucking love you. Right. Before I fucking choke up. Here we go!” ❤️🥹 Louis Tomlinson on stage at #HDWGHWTNewYork

🚨| Sir Lewis Hamilton on the driver's parade with Isack Hadjar and Isack's first race: "Well, firstly, he didn't ask for a selfie. I asked him to take a selfie. Because I know that he's been a supporter growing up, which is really, really nice. And he came over to me and he made some really nice comments. So we had a nice little discussion on the parade. And then, as we were leaving, I said, take a photo because it's your first race and it's my first race with Ferrari. So let's remember it." "And then, of course, I know what it's like to have your first Grand Prix and the pressure that you have with it. And it was the worst conditions that you could have your first race. You get the worst conditions. So, so slippery. And obviously, he had his off on the formation lap." "And I know how it feels. It's a horrible feeling. One, from yourself, because you've practiced so much, you've prepared so well. And then something like that happens. And then too, with how people look upon you and the negativity you feel, that's incoming. So I think it was really important." "I mean, I remember what it was like at the beginning. And I really wanted to try to be there as much as I can for Isaac. My door's open." "We can always have conversations moving forwards. And also just know that one race doesn't defy you. There's lots of opportunities up ahead. And just keep your head up. And it's not like how you fall, it's how you get back up." - F1 2025 China -
