This man was criticized for expecting a “thank you” for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. It didn’t matter whether it was raining or snowing, or hot out. Whenever I drove past him he always looked miserable and I could tell he didn’t like to walk all the time. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. He agreed and we chatted on the way home, nothing serious just pleasant conversation. I dropped him off and went on my way home. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. He then gave me excuses for why I was being a jerk because I was making him walk in the cold. I didn’t argue I just told him I helped him out when I could, but I wasn’t about to go out of my way because he didn’t have a car and besides I didn’t want to be late for work. He didn’t speak to me for the rest of the semester because of it, something tells me I was better off not offering to help in the first place.

“I am reporting a serious safety incident involving an Uber driver named Yusuf, who collected me from my home this evening in a blue Ford Fiesta, registration KD 51 LS GP. When I entered the vehicle, I initially forgot that I needed to provide the PIN for the trip to begin. The driver’s phone was not visible to me and usually that’s how I remember if the driver doesn’t ask. So I asked why the trip had not started. Instead of simply informing me that he needed the PIN, Yusuf responded to me very rudely, asking how he expected the trip to start if I had not given him the PIN. I told him that he could have simply explained that to me and asked why he was being rude. He then told me that if I thought he was being rude, I could get out of his vehicle. I immediately complied and got out. Also I’m not trying to mess with my life at night with so many cases I’ve seen and I really did not appreciate the rudeness. As soon as I exited the vehicle, Yusuf reversed the vehicle with speed in my direction in attempt to bump me. He later claimed that he was simply trying to reverse, but he was aware that I was behind the vehicle!!! . Instead of waiting for me to move away before reversing, he reversed quickly in my direction. And I screamed and my mom heard me and came out. I immediately began calling for assistance from the security guards at my residence as I’m rushing to my house, asking them not to allow the vehicle to leave. I then went to the gate with my mother so that she could hear what had happened. While we were at the gate, Yusuf continued behaving aggressively and threatened me. He said that he would “go mad on me” threatening to beat me up. My mother directly told him that he would not do so. Two security guards were also present and witnessed this interaction. Yusuf also accused me of being drunk, which was completely untrue. I don’t even drink first of all so he was again continuing to be rude. During the incident, I was recording what was happening on my phone without intentionally recording or showing his face. Yusuf then grabbed my phone and refused to give it back to or my mom who also tried to grab it out of his hand. In the process, my phone’s screen protector was broken. He continued swearing at me and repeatedly used profanity. What began as a simple misunderstanding regarding the trip PIN escalated into aggressive behaviour, a vehicle-related safety incident, threats of physical violence, interference with my phone and property, and continued verbal abuse. This young man was handwashing his car since there was no line here. He does it all the time. The cars we see are for the automatic car wash. Anyways he already paid once and got water in the bucket so he could hand wash, after he did that he was preparing to put more money in so he could rinse. An employee comes up and takes the money out of his hand and pushes him and tells him to leave. Claiming Hess making others wait yet we see nobody there waiting. Would you have left too? The cops came and heard him out but since the employee wanted him to never come back, he was asked to respect that. I used to do this all the time especially when traveling. Sometimes I like doing it in the winter because of all the salt and such, I don’t want it damaging my paint. One time I decided to do this at about 2 in the morning on the way to the gym. Obviously there was nobody there and there is usually an officer parked in the parking lot because there used to be reports of people parking back there in the dark sleeping and doing other stuff. I was in the middle of my hand wash when a homeless man literally climbed from behind the dumpster nearby and asked why I was being noisy. I told him I was only washing my car and I was allowed to as it was a 24 hr spot and h paid after all. He started being unreasonable and I flagged the officer behind me, it took him about 30 seconds to notice and he pulled up and I explained what was going on. He said he figured that’s what I was doing since he often saw me doing it before. He did tell the homeless man to leave, and he did without incident. I was able to finish rinsing and drying my car and I left. I don’t live in a bad area, so I don’t feel unsafe doing this, have you ever had an issue washing the car at night? Night time is so much better, quieter and less busy.

Former atheist says Jesus Christ appeared to him in a dream as he hung off the edge of a cliff, crying for help. He didn’t understand the dream when he woke up. He figured it out later. But once he did, he could no longer remain an atheist. DR. SY GARTE: “I was hanging from the edge of a cliff, terrified. I didn’t know what to do, and I couldn’t climb up.” “I was holding on with my hands, and I screamed out, ‘Help. Help.’ I didn’t know who I was calling to. I just said, ‘Help, help.’ And I heard a voice say, ‘Just let go.’ And I said, ‘What? What? I fall down?’” “And the voice said, ‘Just let go.’ So I finally said, ‘Well, okay.’ So I let go. And the moment I let go, the entire landscape turned 90 degrees. And instead of hanging from a cliff, I was lying on the ground.” “And there was a man whose voice I had heard standing there. That was the man who said, ‘Just let go.’ I woke up, and I was like, ‘Whoa, what was that?’ I didn’t know what he meant by ‘just let go.’ I didn’t know who it was.” “Eventually, I found out that the man was Jesus Christ. And he could do things that other people… if I had a really big problem with a certain Democrat, he could work it out. That's something most Republicans can't do.”
