Have you ever watched some of the shoe repair videos? There are some amazing cobblers out there!! I've spent more time than I care to admit witching them. It's fascinating.

I have a friend who did this for a living. He could repair leather and you’d never see it! It’s incredible really!

What one can learn from videos. But if I attempted it, the hole would become massive, the lines would be crooked, the dots would be off, and the color wouldn't come close to matching! Yeah! I know me!

It *looks* good, until you sit on it for 100 hours and that same hole cracks at the seams and falls apart.

Known a lady for years here locally who has her own portable upholstery repair business out of a van. I’ve personally witnessed her on several occasions doing this same repair. Skilz as Mary says on Storage Wars 🤣

Just an amusing insight into how differently men and women perceive things: I DID NOT LOOK AT THE NAILS EVEN ONCE when I first watched this repair process, I only looked at the patch! Only then, after I read some of the comments which mentioned the nails, did I look at them. 😁

Love how they used the seat as a base while cutting the piece to size. It’s amazing the seat was never touched by the scalpel pushing through.

Very nice, but there is a simpler solution, stop shooting your seats. 😏🤠
