Well, pretty much everything starting in '85. That includes the old WW2 CIF issue Helmet and gear... traded that in 88 for the kevlar... that was in the NG before active duty

I was there. Poplands that could be tailored, tucked, starched, and rolled allowing a Marine to look the part. Woodlands -heavy, ugly, and eventually faded to blue. Then the order came down to put nametags on our cammies. Humiliating. Sailors and Army had those. Unsat

Served 1985 to 1999. OD Greens were being phased out. Never issued a set, but you could buy them at Clothing and Sales. Started with BDUs, spent a brief time with Jungle Fatigues in Panama, and ended with BDU's.

BDU’s, then two pair of DCU’s, that I had to return, which pissed me off to no fucking end. Never was issued a woobie. Had to turn in a Gortex and Nomex overalls, which also pissed me off. Fuck CIF!!!

1st gen M81 (Elvis collar) to 2nd gen woodland (smaller collar, mid torso adjustment) to ACUs to Multicam/Scorpion. Paralleled with Chocolate Chip and DCUs.

Too many. It got expensive.

Starched fatigues to Carter era permanent press. Then BDUs to DCUs to ACUs. Unit crest on the cap, full shiny officer rank as well. Patrol cap to black beret. Warrant Officer corps insignia to branch insignia. Steel pot to Kevlar. Khakis to tan shirt Class A, to gray green shirt Class B and A, dress blues.

Summer whites and dress whites to just dress whites. Winter working blues and dress blues to just dress blues. Utilities and coveralls to black and tans, then blue camouflage (wtf), to green camo.

it was just BDUs and Desert Chocolate Chips for me....they were considered BDUs so no changes.

Once. Vietnam left overs to BDUs. We were still eating C rations, no such animal as an MRE until years after I got out. 🙏🇺🇸🙏♾️

When I got in all the services wore army pattern bdus. For 10 years everyone wore bdus. Then all the other services start getting their own ‘I’m not Army patterns’… and the Army went to ACU. BDUs were great.

3 uniforms, 3 dress uniforms, and 3 PTs!!! Lol!! A lot of money spent unnecessarily!!! Crazy!!!

@usmc_colonel BDU the whole time. Horrible high maintenance uniform with a short lifespan because it was 100% cotton.
