I will literally never understand the hate The Witcher 3 combat gets. I can't name a single thing wrong with this combat system, it's fun and it's extremely well animated with a ton of strategy and ways to tackle encounters, do y'all just suck at it?

their issue is that they're not playing on death march. it transforms the combat from repeating to dynamic and dangerous.

Even on lower difficulties i always found the combat a blast

It’s one of the most versatile combat system. Signs, potions, close combat. So many combinations! Personally I really like Agni and Aard lol

I think most people just don’t understand it. I was kind of the same way until I actually gave the game a chance, & the longer you play and the more you learn about how deep the combat actually goes, you realize that it’s actually incredible. One of the most versatile combat systems ever put in a game

It’s one of those situations where an opinion gets circulated online and becomes popularized and parroted. The Witcher 3 doesn’t have combat on the level of Souls or Devil May Cry, but it is good. It’s like people who say The Last of Us doesn’t have good combat. It’s very good.
