I will never join RSS. I will never join BJP. Mr Rintu Pal, a proud Swayam Sevak from Nanoor, was abducted and forced to utter these lines inside a All India Trinamool Congress party office. Under Mamata’s disastrous anti Hindu regime, simply being affiliated with RSS and BJP means...

#WATCH | Kolkata, West Bengal: AITC National General Secretary and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee says, "The INS warships and Rafale are yet to be deployed. Do that too. The thing that you should be doing against Bangladesh and Pakistan, you are doing it against the people of Bengal and call us Bangladeshi. So those who talk about fear and trust, people are watching who are creating an environment of fear and terror in Bengal, and people will answer for it." "BJP can try every trick from their rule book. They will fall flat on their faces when the results come out. You don't know the people of Bengal... I will be in the Amtala's control room." "I am not a political astrologer. I have said Trinamool's tally will increase. I stick to my claim what I said one year back. What I said one year ago was that Trinamool's vote percentage will increase and with a bigger majority than 2021. Trinamool is going to form the government for the fourth time, and I will meet you on the 4th." "If voters are being lathi-charged, then how will there be a fear-free election? If you have stopped 30 lakh people from voting, then who is spreading the atmosphere of terror and fear? These people say one thing and do another. They promised Rs 15 lakh and Amit Shah's party built a party office worth Rs 1500 crore. So if you are talking about fear, then they are the ones spreading fear and Didi and Trinamool are giving assurance that you should vote. Use your rights and give Bengal such a majority that in the coming days, these people will be forced to think 100 times before doing injustice to the Bengalis and Bengal."

The TMC's so-called "Martyrs' Day" Rally today exposed the true face of Mamata Banerjee and her politics of fear. From the stage at Dharmatala, she openly threatened BJP workers, saying, "You will be punished... punished and silenced." This is not just an diktat to her party workers, affiliated henchmen and anti socials to attack BJP Karyakartas but a call to mount an assault on Democracy itself. Mamata Banerjee's words drip with violence; an order to unleash violence on countless BJP workers across West Bengal. Earlier thousands of our Karyakartas have faced attacks, intimidation and worse, yet we have remained steadfast in our fight for truth and justice. Her slogan, "Jabda hobe, stabda hobe" (You will be punished, silenced), is a desperate attempt to cling on to power through fear as the 2026 Elections loom. The BJP will not be silenced, will not be intimidated. We will continue to raise our voice against TMC's misrule and work tirelessly for democratically overthrowing the TMC Govt for a prosperous West Bengal. However, the Election Commission of India must take cognisance of this statement made by Mamata Banerjee. This is an indication how 'peaceful' the Assembly Elections are going to be. The Election Commission of India should take note and make preparations accordingly so that there is a level playing field for all the participants in the upcoming Elections.
