In Switzerland - not possible. Under 18: doctor can over rule parents Over 18: parents can’t make decisions for patients Sorry Jehovas .. this scenario won’t happen

it’s because you haven’t been indoctrinated or part of a cult

best comedy scene ever😂🤣

@InterestingSTEM And there are actually people walking around like this every day

you never heard this before

Perfect example of a TV show sensationalizing and blowing things out of proportion from someone’s actual beliefs to generate fear, hatred and spread lies.

I try not to judge others and their religious beliefs because I have my own but I am firm believer that God made us all, which means he made doctors and medicine and medical procedures. So to reject life saving care because you think it might damn you just comes across as all levels of ignorant and out of touch. “If it’s God’s plan…” guess what, he gave you options to save whomever because we live in a world full of advancing technology and procedures to save lives, make life easier to cope with. They’re missing out on the big picture but can’t force them to change their perspective. For once, I’d like a show to where a doctor faces this type of challenge and he points out the things that I did, that if you believe in God’s plan perhaps just maybe God put that crew of medical staff there at that moment to save whoever it is that needs saving.

This is pure Catholicism. My neighbor is also a devout Catholic. She has blood cancer, but she would rather die than receive a blood transfusion.

being god-fearing is cool and all but thinking he’d want some disease to come kill your son some type of “bigger plan” like the existence of the or some type of devil or any antagonistic creature or force that portrays evil isn’t portrayed in nearly EVERY religion is just nauseating. like these religions have existed for thousands of years. why wouldn’t some of these things available to us now just be answered prayers and performed miracles?

Can someone...tell me if this is actually fr? Like I'm not much of a religious person, but I need to know if that ever happened before, and someone died because of it.

perfect example of religious stupidity
