Unless you’re staying in one place for most or all of your trip this doesn’t make sense. It’s simpler just to roll your clothes individually; then you don’t have to unpack your entire suitcase when you want to get something out of it.

So now you have to unpack and unfold everything to get to one item?

No. This is dumb unless you’re the weirdo that puts your clothes in the nasty hotel drawers.

When you're at the airport: "Mum, I'm cold. Can I have my white t-shirt out of the case?"

It is better you did not, did you think about unpacking while you just wanted one shirt?

Until security needs to go through it, lol - sometimes they randomly look through luggage that is checked and insert a note.

Dumbest thing I've seen since you have to unpack everything from your suitcase to get access to anything. The volume the cloths take up is the same regardless of folding or rolling. Pick a method that minimizes air gaps and you're good-to-go.
