I don't know how Anakin could eventually take out Dooku but Obi-Wan ended up defeating him. While Dooku made short work of Obi-Wan twice.

Its wild that all the lightsaber duels in this movie was nerfed one way or another and yet ep 3 is still considered the best of the prequels.

So there WAS more to the fight than what we saw in the final film.
