I wonder if Asda would like to respond to this deplorable behaviour. Asda delivery driver refuses to carry a disabled couples shopping up some stairs for what I can only determine is that he’s to bloody goddam lazy. Do you call this care in the community and customer service.

Guys can we all share and raise awareness of this please. I wonder if @AsdaServiceTeam would like to respond to this.

I used to work in a supermarket and I can tell you this Waitrose were a lot of things, but they always put customers first and especially when it came caring to the elderly. This is very shocking from Asda and one of there drivers depriving a disabled elderly couple,e from there much needed food delivery.

Just unnecessary and could have been resolved very easily.

@asda I don’t use Asda. I don’t buy halal and I don’t put money in the pocket of the Islamic brothers.

Asda are a disgrace to the retail industry and have been for sometime. The staff in store are often rude and unhelpful. The company, obviously contempts its customers and does not regard customer service as any part of their trading policy. I have not shopped there for a long time , and I must say that it is strange that Aldi which is a smaller company can provide much better staff at cheaper prices. They say please and thank you, and often offer to carry shopping out to the car for disabled customers. If you think I am advertising Audi here😀😀 no- I have no interest other than that of a customer who would like normal manners from people I am buying something from.

@asda I would say the driver needs to look for a new job before he gets fired.

The elderly couple likely has legal grounds to challenge Asda’s actions under the Equality Act 2010 for failure to make reasonable adjustments and possibly under consumer protection laws if the service was deemed unfair. They should document the incident thoroughly and consider escalating their complaint through official channels or seeking legal advice to explore their options for redress.

@asda Disgusting Never had a problem with Tesco delivery always helpful. He carried it halfway and instead of going another flight to help he took it down. Bloody idiot 🤬
